  • Patent number: 11558082
Abstract: A device includes a first and a second part, relatively rotatable, and data transmission structures for contactless transmission of data. The data transmission structures include a transmit and/or receive facility a coupling facility on the two parts. The transmit and/or receive facility extends over a small angle and the coupling facility extends over a complete circle. Data is transmitted between the facilities at a transmission frequency. The two parts include walls encompassing a tunnel interior space extending completely around the axis of rotation. The data transmission structures are arranged in the tunnel interior space. The walls are electrically conductive structures reflecting electromagnetic alternating fields in the transmission frequency range. An absorber structure is arranged at least on a part of the walls toward the tunnel interior space and the absorber structure absorbs electromagnetic alternating fields in the range of the transmission frequency.

  • Publication number: 20220417124
Abstract: A method includes moving one or more transmit facility or transmit facilities attached to a first component with regard to at least two receive facilities attached at a fixed position to the second component; and at least one of registering a respective error if an error condition exists for the respective receive facility or modifying an operation of an apparatus comprising the first and a second component if the error condition exists for the respective receive facility, the error condition for the respective receive facility depends on location information relating to at least one of the position of the first component with regard to the second component or orientation of the first component with regard to the second component, and/or at least one of a measure for a receive quality of the signals or data packets received from the transmit facility or from at least one of the transmit facilities.

  • Patent number: 8340242
Abstract: A device for the transfer of high frequency electrical signals between a rotating component and a stationary component, in particular for use in a CT system, in particular in a gantry of a CT system has a rotor, a stator; at least one brush attached at the stator, with a number of electrically conductive fibers that establish sliding contact with the rotor, and a slideway arranged to the side of the rotor and facing toward the stator. The fibers of the at least one stator-side brush rest on the slideway. A lubricant is provided on the slideway, a rotor has a capture device for the lubricant that is arranged around the outside of the slideway, and at least one return element for the captured lubricant is attached at the stator.

  • Publication number: 20120082288
Abstract: The present embodiments relate to an arrangement for the contactless transmission of first electrical signals, second electrical signals and electrical energies between a fixed gantry part of a computed tomography system and a gantry part that may be rotated around an axis of rotation. The arrangement includes a first annular-shaped carrier ring arranged on the rotatable gantry part, at least a first conductor element arranged in or on the first annular-shaped carrier ring to receive the electrical energy, and at least a second conductor element arranged in or on the first annular-shaped carrier ring to output the first electrical signals.

  • Patent number: 7358479
Abstract: In a gantry for an x-ray computed tomography apparatus with a rotor and a stator and a device for measurement of the rotation angle as well as a method for measurement of the rotation angle, a disc is provided with markings that rotate relative to a detection device for detection of the markings. Electrical signals are generated by the detection device, and an evaluation device converts the signals into a measurement signal corresponding to the respective rotation angle. To increase the precision of the measurement, a low-pass filter is connected upstream of the evaluation device.
