  • Publication number: 20020040503
Abstract: The present invention relates to a process of treating a fabric comprising the steps of applying, in any order, to said fabric a first and a second composition, wherein upon contact of said two compositions heat is generated and whereby a fabric cleaning performance benefit is provided.
    Type: Application

  • Patent number: 6333299
Abstract: The present invention relates to liquid acidic compositions suitable for removing limescale-containing stains from a hard-surface, comprising an acid, from 0.001% to 20% by weight of the total composition of a polysaccharide polymer and from 0.001% to 20% by weight of the total composition of a vinylpyrrolidone homopolymer or copolymer, said composition being packaged in a spray type-dispenser. Such a composition provides improved shine to the surface treated while exhibiting effective limescale removal performance. The use of a polysaccharide polymer and a vinylpyrrolidone homopolymer or copolymer, in a liquid acidic composition being packaged in a spray-type dispenser, to treat a hard-surface, reduces or even prevents the formation of watermarks and even limescale deposits on said hard-surface after said hard-surface has first been treated with said composition and subsequently comes in contact with water.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: April 28, 2000
Date of Patent: December 25, 2001
Assignee: The Procter & Gamble Co.
    Inventors: Luigi Pace, Barbara Delucca
  • Patent number: 5910473
Abstract: This invention relates to colored acidic thickened aqueous compositions comprising a source of peroxygen and from 0.002% to 0.05% by weight of the total composition of an .alpha. or .beta. metal phthalocyanine dye, or mixtures thereof. Preferred compositions therein comprise a thickening surfactant system such as a quaternary ammonium compound together with a short chain amine oxide. Said compositions are particularly suitable for the cleaning of toilet bowls providing enhanced perceived viscosity by the consumer and enhanced ease of rinsing perceived by the consumer.
