Abstract: The device consists of a moderately pretensioned wire cable which connects the opposing vehicle body sides together. The cable is fixed by means of a pair of opposing reinforcement plates of relatively large surface area that are welded and/or screwed to the vehicle body. The cable passes about the steering column in such a manner as to limit its rearward movement in case of a frontal impact between the vehicle and an obstacle and/or another vehicle and to simultaneously limit the movement of the body sides away from each other.

Abstract: A seating system consisting of two side by side front seats and at least a rear seat, all housed inside the passenger compartment of an automobile; characterized by the fact that it presents at least a television set built permanently into a lift-up armrest between the two front seats, so that the television screen defines at least part of the front side of the rear wall of the armrest. The seating system may also comprise a video tape reader/recorder housed underneath the rear seat or inside the luggage compartment of the vehicle, so as to form a complete television system. Abstract: A motor vehicle door provided with a window for closing a window aperture defined upperly by a tubular frame which on that side facing said window comprises a radial rib acting, together with said frame, as a support for a channel disposed substantially in line with the outer surface of the door and snap-fitted over said radial rib by means of a metal section having a substantially Z-shaped cross-section.
