  • Patent number: 8417693
Abstract: Techniques are provided for processing a search request. One or more indexed levels of access control list information are stored in a search index for each document identified in the search index. An interim result set is generated by matching the one or more indexed levels of access control list information associated with each said document to one or more security groups associated with the search request. A final result set is generated from the interim result set by performing impersonation.

  • Patent number: 8089282
Abstract: A test assembly for a circuit breaker with a single pole module having first and second conduction paths electrically isolated from each other via an interior wall of the module and a circuit board. The test assembly includes an axle at an upper portion of the interior wall and having a first end and a second end extending along opposite sides of the interior wall, a test actuation member configured to be actuated, and a spring in operable communication with the test actuation member and in signal communication with the circuit board. The spring contacts the test actuation member and the first end of the axle when the test actuation member is actuated, the axle conducts an electrical signal to the spring, and the spring provides a test signal to the circuit board initiating a test operation of the circuit breaker.

  • Publication number: 20110156397
Abstract: Underwater electrical energy generator with a three-blade propeller for the harnessing of energy from the water in the direction of its axis, in both directions. The propeller drives an alternating current generator located in a central dome from which there extend three arms joined to floats which close the Y-shaped structure by means of tie beams. The assembly has neutral floatability and is set into position by means of an anchoring system with a set of buoys joined to the bottom by one or more cables. An end of the generator is joined to an anchoring line by means of a horizontal cable in one of the main directions of the current. From the other end another two horizontal cables, open at an angle with respect to the direction of the current, are joined to another two anchoring lines. The assembly can be ballasted to go from an operating vertical underwater position to a horizontal floating position to facilitate maintenance tasks.

  • Publication number: 20100288840
Abstract: A method for identifying counterfeit cards and supports that can be used in such method. Such supports may be made of materials such as paper, cardboard, plastics and others. The creation of interference wave patterns generated starting from the interaction between an electromagnetic emitting source and particles installed in the cards or support, for example: by a printing processes. The so produced particle interactions (involving photons and electrons) provides complex interference maps in which constituent variables define wave junction conditions characteristic of the interaction between each INFORMATION BLOCK of particles The BLOCKS are created/built in accordance to those variables' statements, and located at different points in the support. To be approved as a valid Data point, the wave function present at each of these Points should match those stored in an extremely complex Data Matrix.

Abstract: A method of identifying a site of injury in a pediatric patient with brain injury is provided which comprises obtaining an electroencephalogram signal on the patient. The identification of phase synchrony within the signal is indicative of the site of brain injury. Electroencephalogram signals may also be used to determine prognosis of a pediatric patient in a coma in which an increase in the temporal variability of phase synchronized EEG signals over time is indicative of an improvement in the patient.
