  • Patent number: 12002252
Abstract: An image matching system includes a non-transitory computer-readable medium and a processor. The non-transitory computer-readable medium is configured to store information of a plurality of images. The processor is configured to identify an object area in an original image that illustrates an object. The processor is configured to normalize the object area, resulting in a normalized image. The processor is configured to calculate a shape vector and a color vector from the normalized image. The processor is configured to calculate a match score using the shape vector and the color vector. The processor is configured to determine if the non-transitory computer-readable medium stores an identical match for the original image based on the match score.

  • Publication number: 20230285180
Abstract: Disclosed is an anatomical menstrual cup that has in its lower part a deformable hollow beak shape forming two symmetrical convex grip zones with respect to the X axis that passes through the center of the menstrual cup, where both grip zones contain a lip that allows to press, pull and rotate to facilitate manipulation of the menstrual cup.

  • Publication number: 20090117331
Abstract: A multi-ply paper product having a first ply and a second ply. The first ply has a plurality of first surface features, the first surface features have a number density of from about 5/cm2 to about 20/cm2, a surface area of from about 0.3 mm2 to about 4 mm2, and a height of from about 600 microns to about 2500 microns. The second ply has a plurality of second surface features with a number density of from about 30/cm2 to about 80/cm2, a surface area of from about 0.03 mm2 to about 1.2 mm2, and a height of from about 400 microns to about 1600 microns.

  • Patent number: 6124797
Abstract: An apparatus and method for determining the efficacy of the backup batteries connected in series that are used to supply electrical power to a load in the event of an interruption of an AC electrical input power source which normally supplies electrical power to the load and maintains the backup batteries in a state of ready charge includes measuring the AC ripple voltage across a minimum of one of the backup batteries and comparing the AC ripple voltage to a minimum and a maximum threshold. In the event the AC ripple voltage exceeds the maximum threshold an alarm is activated to indicate that a failure of at least one of the backup batteries has occurred and is in need of servicing. In the event the AC ripple voltage falls below the minimum threshold a determination is made as to whether the backup batteries are supplying electrical power to the load. If they are supplying power, then the loss of AC ripple is expected under this condition and the backup batteries are assumed to be functioning properly.

  • Patent number: 5660977
Abstract: An improved method and fermentor for aerobic production of microbial cells and/or cell metabolites, having at least one ascending flow chambers and at least one descending flow chamber. The fermentor is especially useful in conducting high cell density fermentation processes which involves the controlled addition of an antifoam agent, for maintaining a predetermined and relatively high gas holdup within the fermentor or by release of the constituents of the microbial cells into the fermentor.
