Abstract: Patterned fibrous structures, more particularly to fibrous structures that comprise a pattern that conveys to a user a characteristic of the fibrous structure and/or single- or multi-ply sanitary tissue product comprising such a patterned fibrous structure and methods for making same are provided.

Abstract: A multi-ply paper product having a first ply and a second ply. The first ply has a plurality of first surface features, the first surface features have a number density of from about 5/cm2 to about 20/cm2, a surface area of from about 0.3 mm2 to about 4 mm2, and a height of from about 600 microns to about 2500 microns. The second ply has a plurality of second surface features with a number density of from about 30/cm2 to about 80/cm2, a surface area of from about 0.03 mm2 to about 1.2 mm2, and a height of from about 400 microns to about 1600 microns.
