Patent number: 12053403Abstract: The present teachings provide a medical system for delivering and deploying a medical implant, and the method of using thereof. Specifically, one aspect of the present teachings provides a medical system having an implant with an engagement loop, and a delivery system having an engagement wire and an engagement mechanism. During implant delivery, the engagement wire engages the engagement loop of the implant. The engagement wire further interacts with the engagement mechanism in order to prevent unintended disengagement of the engagement loop from the engagement wire. The present teaching also provide an implant release mechanism that is configured to break away from the implant pusher shaft. Specially, one aspect of the present teaching provides that the implant release mechanism being of one unit with the implant pusher shaft. To release the implant, a clinician simply breaks away the implant release mechanism from the rest of the implant delivery system.Type: GrantFiled: July 11, 2019Date of Patent: August 6, 2024Assignee: SHANGHAI WALLABY MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIES CO., INC.Inventors: Earl Bardsley, Dean Schaefer, Jerome Choe, Tan Dinh, Luis Cardenas, Chengcheng Feng, Cheng Ian, Paul Dao, Paul Ehlinger

Patent number: 5807419Abstract: An apparatus for shaping and transferring of a glass article is provided for a glassware forming machine in order to shape a glass parison in a blowing mold and to transfer the shaped glass article from the blowing mold to a deadplate in front of the machine. A blow nozzle, a blow head, and a take-out mechanism are coupled in a housing to form, cool, and grip the article. The blow nozzle is provided to blow air for the forming of the article and to cool the article once that article has been shaped. The blow head is provided to form a pressure chamber when the blow head is positioned on the blowing mold during the shaping of the glass article, the blow nozzle passing within and through the blow head. The take-out mechanism for gripping the glass article is pivotally mounted in an external part of the housing for movement between a gripping position to grip the glass article after the article has been shaped in the blowing mold and a retracted position to release the article.Type: GrantFiled: December 20, 1995Date of Patent: September 15, 1998Assignee: Vidriera Monterrey, S.A. Patent number: 4783746Abstract: In glassware article forming machines such as the well known I.S. machine, sensors continuously detect the velocity of operation of each individual mechanism of the machine in order to derive a signal for each mechanism representative of the actual velocity of operation of the associated mechanism, and a control receives the signal and compares the detected actual velocity of the mechanism with a predetermined maximum optium velocity for the mechanism to provide a signal compensating for deviations from the determined maximum velocity for that mechanism, and a command signal to trigger the operation of a succeeding mechanism of a glass forming sequence, when the preceeding mechanism has reached to its point of cushioning, thereby optimizing in this way both the velocity of each individual mechanism, and, the total time of a glassware article forming cycle of the machine.Type: GrantFiled: July 23, 1986Date of Patent: November 8, 1988Assignee: Vitro Tec FideicomisoInventor: Luis Cardenas-Franco
