  • Publication number: 20250014365
Abstract: A method for refining virtually-stained image annotations. The method includes separating an image of a stained tissue section into an image of a counterstain and an image of immunostaining visual signals via linear transformation. The method includes identifying and segmenting nuclei in the image of the counterstain to produce an image of a refined counterstain with single-cell segments. The method includes comparing immunostaining visual signals in the single-cell segments of the image of the refined counterstain to a user-defined threshold to determine true positive cells. The method includes refining the image of the immunostaining visual signals to produce an image of refined immunostaining visual signals. The refining is based on the stained tissue section protein localization or morphology and the determined true positive cells. The method includes overlaying the image of the counterstain and the image of refined immunostaining visual signals to produce a refined virtually-stained image annotation.

  • Publication number: 20250003633
Abstract: A flow heater has a housing with a base and cover. A heating plate is adjacent the channel, and fins in the channel contact the heating plate. An inner wall of the housing has a slanted section and a printed circuit board is arranged between the inner wall and the cover. A channel for liquid has first and second wedge-shaped sections that taper from an end of the heating plate adjacent to the inlet and the outlet to an opposite end. A middle section connects the wedge-shaped sections. The flow direction in the middle section is crosswise to the flow direction in the wedge-shaped sections. A wedge-shaped space is defined by the inner wall and the cover part, and the wedge-shaped space tapers in a direction opposite the direction in which the first and second wedge-shaped channel sections taper. The printed circuit board is arranged in the wedge-shaped space.

  • Publication number: 20240381495
Abstract: Disclosed is a heating rod having a tubular housing made of metal, a plurality of ceramic heating elements arranged inside the housing, a plastic frame holding the heating elements, and a metallic strip that is electrically isolated from the housing and electrically contacts the heating elements. The housing has crimped sections that fix the plastic frame inside the housing.

  • Publication number: 20220377594
Abstract: The present invention provides a method and system for managing the connections of multiple stations in a Wi-Fi mesh network, using station steering to optimize the overall throughput of the network. The stations are proactively steered depending on the link quality, the network topology and wireless medium occupation, as well as the different equipment capabilities, to ultimately provide the best available throughput. This invention also aims to detect crowded Access Points or frequency bands, and steer stations accordingly towards an efficient load control and traffic management between nodes/Access Points and improved quality of experience.

  • Patent number: 10947443
Abstract: Provided are compositions, methods, and systems that relate to use of viscoelastic surfactant gels in well perforation. A method for well treatment comprising: introducing a viscoelastic surfactant gel into a wellbore; and forming one or more perforation channels in an interval of the wellbore while the viscoelastic surfactant gel is disposed in the wellbore. A method for well treatment comprising: introducing a viscoelastic surfactant gel into a wellbore over an interval of the wellbore to be perforated; disposing a perforating gun into the wellbore such that the viscoelastic surfactant gel is disposed between the perforating gun and a casing of the wellbore; and forming one or more perforation channels in the interval of the wellbore. A downhole perforating system comprising: a perforating gun disposed at a distal end of a work string; and a viscoelastic surfactant gel.

  • Publication number: 20070275936
Abstract: The invention provides compositions comprising formula 1 steroids, e.g., 16?-bromo-3?-hydroxy-5?-androstan-17-one hemihydrate and one or more excipients, including compositions that comprise a liquid formulation comprising less than about 3% v/v water. The compositions are useful to make improved pharmaceutical formulations. The invention also provides methods of intermittent dosing of steroid compounds such as analogs of 16?-bromo-3?-hydroxy-5?-androstan-17-one and compositions useful in such dosing regimens. The invention further provides compositions and methods to inhibit pathogen replication, ameliorate symptoms associated with immune dysregulation and to modulate immune responses in a subject using the compounds. The invention also provides methods to make and use these immunomodulatory compositions and formulations.

  • Patent number: 6143161
Abstract: The present invention refers to a process for the preparation of 4-(des-dimethylamino)-tetracyclines, which compounds have a therapeutical application. The starting tetracyclines are treated with a methylating agent and the resulting trimethylammonium salts are reduced by electrolysis in an aqueous solution at acidic pH, in the presence of an adequate electrolyte. A direct electrical current with a potential of 0.5-1.5 volts is applied between two convenient electrodes until the reaction is complete. The 4-(des-dimethylamino)-tetracyclines are isolated by extraction with an organic solvent.
