  • Publication number: 20080080105
Abstract: One embodiment monitors a line-side electrical current provided by a power sourcing equipment (PSE) port to a powered device (PD), the PSE port having a power-isolation transformer with a primary coil on an isolated side and a secondary coil on a line side. A switching signal having a switching period and a duty cycle is applied to the primary coil of the power-isolation transformer. A value is determined for an electrical current on the isolated side of the power-isolation transformer, conversion is performed between a line-side electrical current value Iout and a corresponding isolated-side peak-current value Ipeak, and the line-side electrical current is indirectly monitored based on the determined isolated-side current value.

  • Publication number: 20080037297
Abstract: Disclosed is a current mode switched power supply. The current mode switched power supply includes a switching element and a power stage coupled to the switching element and configured to provide, in response to the switching of the switching element, an output voltage and a feedback voltage related to the output voltage. The current mode switched power supply also includes a digital control circuit connected to the switching element to digitally control the switching of the switching element.

  • Publication number: 20070096783
Abstract: In accordance with the invention, feed forward compensation of jitter induced by power supply noise is incorporated into the negative feedback control loop of a timing synchronization circuit, such as a phase locked loop or delay locked loop. More particularly, the dependence of the circuitry in the negative feedback loop, such as the delay elements in a DLL or the oscillator in a PLL, to fluctuations in the power supply are counteracted by introducing into the feedback loop a signal component that is a function of the supply voltage and that will have the opposite effect from any direct fluctuations in the power supply voltage.

  • Patent number: 7084819
Abstract: Reflector that when associated to a portable telephone allows concentrating a maximum amount of radiation, providing a directional radiation source allowing an increased signal gain, greater coverage, reduced radiation on the face of the circuit attached to the telephone and a lower incidence on the human body. The reflector is attached on the casing on the portable telephone, constructed on a fiberglass plate and comprises two faces on which are arranged a number of tracks such that the radiation between the reflector and the portable telephone antenna is adjusted. The support is conformed by the reflector itself, to which are adhered two double strips, one for attachment to the telephone and another for attachment to an ornamental strip that is provided on its outer face with an attachment area and an available area.

  • Patent number: 5664546
Abstract: A fuel economizer having a non-magnetic body surrounding a fuel feed pipe and fitted with internal magnets. The fuel economizer includes two half casings of non-magnetic material, joined to each other by a clamp that keeps them attached to the pipe through which the fuel runs. A magnetic field perpendicular to the pipe is generated by a first magnet and a magnetic field axial to the pipe is generated by a second magnet. A third magnet has a perpendicular field with its poles inverted with respect to the first magnet. The magnets are separated an equal distance from each other. Utilizing low carbon iron pieces in the magnet housing, the flow is concentrated toward the inside of the conduit to prevent exit of the flow towards the outside of the economizer.
