    Abstract: An expandable intervertebral implant that includes an upper endplate having: a proximal end with a proximal ramp, and a distal end with a distal ramp. The proximal ramp includes a pair of upper proximal rails and the distal ramp includes a pair of upper distal rails. The expandable intervertebral implant also includes a lower endplate that includes a proximal end, a proximal ramp, a distal end, and a distal ramp. The proximal ramp includes a pair of lower proximal rails and the distal ramp includes a pair of lower distal rails. The at least one of the lower distal rails and the lower proximal rails is closer to a central plane than one or more of the upper distal rails and the upper proximal rails. The central plane divides a left side from a right side of the expandable intervertebral implant.
