  • Patent number: 12199738
Abstract: Conventionally, software-based services that utilize satellites are manually and painstakingly configured, provisioned, activated, and calibrated, because the complexity and variability of satellite links prevent automated and scalable service orchestration. Accordingly, systems and processes are disclosed for automated and scalable orchestration of services that utilize satellite links. In response to a service request, comprising a service definition for an end-to-end service, parameter(s) of a satellite link that satisfies the service definition may be calculated. These parameter(s) may be used to select a configuration for a satellite-network service chain, comprising a plurality of virtual network functions, from a service catalog. The satellite-network service chain may then be instantiated, within a cloud infrastructure, using the selected configuration.

  • Publication number: 20200056104
Abstract: A method and system for producing crude oil having reduced viscosity in the processed crude and the empowerment of its dehydration process by passing crude oil over a core that ionizes-polarizes the crude oil with an electrostatic charge. The metal bar-core is an alloy with 40-70% copper by weight, 10-32% nickel, 15-40% zinc, 2-20% tin, and 0.05-10% silver. The core comprises a plurality of grooves, which allows crude oil to be agitated as it comes in contact with the core, activating an electrostatic charge. The electrostatic charge of the core creates a magnetic catalytic reaction that causes: (1) a molecular separation in molecular chains in the processed crude oil thereby lowering the viscosity and (2) stretches and twists caused by the molecular ionization-polarization of processed crude, causes that this release accordingly congenital or added water that is trapped in it, resulting in a potentiation of the dehydration of processed crude.

  • Patent number: 9744373
Abstract: An improved apparatus is provided for transcranial magnetic stimulation in a brain of a subject. The apparatus is comprised of: a plurality of coils electrically connected in series to each other; and a single source of current electrically coupled to one of the plurality of coils. Each coil may include one or more windings of similar dimensions although the size of the windings varies between coils. Each of the coils is further dimensioned to stimulate brain tissue at a given distance while minimizing volume of the brain tissue excited by the magnetic field. During operation, the current source injects time varying current into the coils to create a magnetic field which in turn induces electric fields and eddy-currents inside the brain tissue of the subject.

  • Publication number: 20170145577
Abstract: Thin film substrates are electroplated with copper from low internal stress, high ductility acid copper electroplating baths. During the copper electroplating process the thin film substrates can warp or bow. To address the problem of warping or bowing during copper electroplating the thin film substrate is held by a securing means which inhibits the thin film substrate from excessive activity.

  • Patent number: 9624444
Abstract: A method for reducing sulfur and lowering viscosity in bunker oil by the steps of passing bunker oil over a core that ionizes the bunker oil with an electrostatic charge. The core consists of a metal bar being made of an alloy comprising, by weight, 40-70% copper, 10-32% nickel, 15-40% zinc, 2-20% tin and 0.05-10% silver.
