  • Patent number: 11965651
Abstract: The continuous process of the present invention is intended to obtain dry biomass from two treatment steps by drying organic waste. The waste previously sieved and crushed waste are dumped into a first dryer, inside of which temperatures are between 280° C. and 300° C. at the inlet thereof and between 90° C. and 100° C. at the outlet, then passing to a conveyor belt where at room temperature a partial cool-down occurs and the waste is dumped into a second dryer inside of which the temperatures are between 180° C. and 200° C. at the inlet and between 75° C. and 85° C. at the exit, completing the process, during which the interior of the dryers is maintained in negative pressure through exhaust flow and the oxygen content is kept between 5 and 7%.

  • Publication number: 20230373317
Abstract: The techniques described herein relate to a motor vehicle, including: a battery pack electrically connected to an electric machine and a plurality of electrical loads, wherein the motor vehicle is operable in a full power mode in which power can flow from the battery pack to the electric machine and each of the plurality of electrical loads, and a battery save mode in which a flow of power is prevented between the battery pack and either or both of the electric machine or at least some of the plurality of electrical loads; and a controller configured to command the motor vehicle to operate in the battery save mode if the motor vehicle has been parked in a known extended parking location for a first time period, or if the motor vehicle has been parked in a location other than a known extended parking location for a second time period longer than the first time period.

  • Publication number: 20220230520
Abstract: A method for responding to an active-shooter event comprising the steps of: providing a module in each room and each designated area of a premises being monitored, said module being monitored and controlled by a remote computer/communications/control system; each module providing: audible alarm means and audio sensing means; said control system remotely configuring each module to display via a monitor a “left exit” command; a “right exit” command; a “window exit” command; and any other command in response to an active-shooter event detected by a module known as the activated module; upon such activated module detecting such active-shooter event then activating said audible alarm means in the rooms and the designated areas; and said control system transmitting to law enforcement a unique code allowing law enforcement to enter said control system and allowing law enforcement to monitor and assess said activated module.
