  • Patent number: 12229211
Abstract: Forensic acquisition of contents of web pages accessible through a user device on a network includes communication by the user of URL addresses of indicated web pages useful for preparation of a forensic evidence document to a control and coordination program which executes access to the network by a browser and creates a list of relevant features of the content type of the pages. The program then performs a classification of specific types of contents of the pages based on the relevant features and proceeds to an automatic selective navigation based on the type of classification of the pages. The selective acquisition of the contents is performed by specialized program code depending on the type of classification of the pages. The process includes the automatic creation and return to the user of a forensic evidence document with the contents acquired.

  • Patent number: 12163873
Abstract: Apparatus and methods for sampling air-borne particles. According to one embodiment a nozzle is used to generate a jet of fog that includes a gas and liquid droplets. The jet of fog is formed by the nozzle in a way to cause particles in the air surrounding the jet of fog to be drawn into the jet of fog and to further cause the particles to aggregate with the liquid droplets inside the jet of fog. A sample collecting surface is located opposite and spaced apart from an outlet of the nozzle. The sample collecting surface is preferably sloped so that the liquid sample can be forced by gravity off the collecting surface and into a liquid sample container. Inside the jet of fog and on the sample collection surface the liquid droplets merge with one another to form larger sized droplets that are collectable in the liquid sample container.

  • Patent number: 11907765
Abstract: Fog computing systems are provided comprising edge-nodes and middle-nodes between edge-nodes and cloud-node. These nodes form a hierarchical structure with each cloud, middle node having children nodes, and each middle, edge node having a parent-node. Each edge-node receives data from sensors, assigns reception-timestamp to each data indicating when data has been received to produce series of timestamp-ordered data, trains local model through machine-learning based on said series of timestamp-ordered data, and sends said series to parent-node of the edge-node. Each middle-node collects series of timestamp-ordered data from children nodes of the middle-node, trains supra-local model through machine-learning based on said collected series of timestamp-ordered data, and sends said collected series to parent-node of the middle-node. Parent-children structures, edge-nodes and middle-nodes for such fog computing systems are also provided.

  • Publication number: 20230104599
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for detecting biological agents suspended in air in real time. A method includes emitting towards an air sample a beam of monochromatic polarized light whose wavelength corresponds to an absorption maximum of a biological molecule. The method further includes receiving, at different scattering angles, the scattered light beam after passing through the sample and determining that there are particles in the sample that contain the biological molecules of interest if the intensity of the scattered light has a substantially higher peak than the rest of the scattered light. The amount of the biological molecules is then estimated according to the amplitude of the peak. The size of the particles containing the biological molecules is also estimated as a function of the scattering angle where the peak was detected.
