  • Publication number: 20260099056
Abstract: A head-wearable device comprising a larger battery, a smaller battery, one or more electronic components, and memory including executable instructions for causing the head-wearable device to perform operations is described. The operations are performed in response to a request to perform a computational task. The operations include, in accordance with a determination that a larger battery charge is above a larger battery charge threshold and a smaller battery charge is above a smaller battery charge threshold, providing power from the larger battery and the smaller battery to the one or more electronic components. The operations further include, in accordance with a determination that the larger battery charge is above the larger battery charge threshold and the smaller battery charge is below the smaller battery charge threshold: (i) deactivating a discharging path of the smaller battery and (ii) providing power from the larger battery to the one or more electronic components.

  • Publication number: 20240028780
Abstract: A secure computerized device such as a smartphone is provided. The secure device allows for disconnection of various components which are security sensitive, meaning that a remote unauthorized user may access the component without permission and record information about the device or its surroundings. Disconnection may be achieved through mechanical disconnection in some embodiments to prevent remote override, or may be a software based disconnection with additional security requirements to re-connect the component.

  • Patent number: 10277078
Abstract: Various embodiments of the present technology generally relate to wireless power transmitter and antenna configurations for transmitting wireless power to one or more clients. In some embodiments, the wireless power transmitter includes boards having multiple antennas (i.e., an Antenna Matrix Board(s) (AMB)). The antennas can be on one side of each AMB board, while the control and power circuitry are on the reverse side. The antennas emit electromagnetic (EM) radiant energy that the client(s) receive, store, and/or use for communication with the charger or for the client device battery charging process. The antenna boards can be arranged in a configuration to increase (e.g., optimize) the amount of power transmitted to client(s). In various embodiments, the boards are arranged in polygonal shape as individual flat panels physically coupled to a support structure and attached to the CCB by plug in multiple pin connectors unique in mechanical design.
