Abstract: An antimicrobial composition with a synergistic combination of ingredients is described. Cosmetic compositions containing the antimicrobial composition with improved preservation properties are also described. The cosmetic compositions are effective in treating the skin to cleanse, moisturize and to reduce the effects of aging and photo damage and treat other skin conditions after being topically applied.
