  • Patent number: 12643207
Abstract: A sleeve removal tool for removing a split sleeve embedded in a structure includes a main rod, a nose cap, a housing, and a nut. The main rod includes a main threaded portion and a neck portion. The nose cap is configured to removably couple to the neck portion of the main rod and to removably couple to a flare of the split sleeve embedded in the structure. The housing includes a non-marking foot. The housing is configured to at least partially surround the main rod. The nut is configured to be threaded onto the main threaded portion of the main rod, wherein threading the nut onto the main threaded portion of the main rod forces the housing against the structure and forces the main rod away from the structure, thereby removing the split sleeve from the structure.

  • Patent number: 12251348
Abstract: A system and method of lifting and positioning patients uses a patient's center of gravity for leverage to enable a caregiver to readily move a patient with less effort. The system includes a device with a tension sheet and tension rollers located at opposite ends of the device. The tension rollers are configured to increase tension in the tension sheet, which creates leverage to assist positioning of the patient. The patient lifting and positioning system aims to reduce injury risk for both the caregiver and any patient being assisted to lay down and sit up. Further, the system and method uses leverage to assist a patient lay flat on an exam table or bed from the sitting position to the laying position, and back to the sitting position with less effort.

  • Patent number: 10628902
Abstract: According to exemplary embodiments, a secure kiosk for receiving, transmitted, securing, and verifying data may be shown and described. For example, the kiosk may be fully automated. The kiosk may include a display, a tablet computer, a card reader, a printer, and a network link. For example, a kiosk may be provided and may be fully automated. The kiosk may accept data inputs in a variety of manners. The inputted data may then be transmitted, in real time, to a first server, where the information can be displayed and stored. Additionally, the information, at predetermined times, may be transmitted to a number of other servers which may receive, compare, and validate information. Further, a hierarchical data transmission system may be utilized such that, when information is verified or indicated as unverified at any of the other servers, instructions may be sent to at least the first server and the kiosk.

  • Publication number: 20160135493
Abstract: A 3D printer system that uses the AM method to print a product using a plurality of materials, each of which is contained in a respective capsule. The capsules are removably inserted into respective capsule holders, each of which includes a heating device for adjusting the temperature of the material, and is releasably held in one of a plurality of stations. A tool fetches individual capsules from and deposits them to their stations, and holds individual capsules for printing the product using a telescopic extrusion apparatus. A memory stores capsule-identifying data, a processor provides position coordinates for positioning of the tool, and a controller moves the tool to the position coordinates. The capsule holders include heating systems for controlling the rheological behavior of the materials based on algorithms executed by the processor.
