  • Patent number: 11907187
Abstract: A method and system for detecting and queuing data stewardship tasks, the method may comprise receiving, at a private database, incoming identity information comprising one or more received data record attributes; comparing the one or more received data record attributes to a plurality of saved data records in the private database. Each saved private data record may include one or more saved attributes. A data stewardship task record is created that contains the received data record attributes and saved data record attributes that are near matches to the received data record. The data stewardship task is displayed to indicate a match quality for each of the received data record attributes and the saved data record attributes. The match quality may be indicated using a color coding scheme that uses a unique color or lack of color to indicate one of a match, a partial match, and no match.

  • Patent number: 11899632
Abstract: A methods, systems, and devices for secure linking and matching of data elements across independent data systems of a first and a second enterprise are disclosed. The system includes a first private data system having a first private database that may include all attributes known to the first enterprise A reference data system having a reference database and is also part of the first enterprise. The reference database may include all known attributes regarding data records contained any data system that is in communication with and/or has access to the reference database. A first set of query attributes may be used determine whether a subject represented by the first set of query attributes associates uniquely with a subject of any private data record stored in the first private database. A similar comparison may be made in the reference database.

  • Patent number: 9183317
Abstract: A technique for exporting results from a reporting system report in a format type including a datamart, PDF file, flat file, Excelâ„¢ file, HTML file, and XML file or in another relational database management system (RDBMS) format. In one embodiment, the technique is realized through a method and a system for automatically exporting results from a business intelligence, OLAP, or other reporting system. One embodiment of the present invention involves a method of enabling a user to designate a report desired for execution as an export-report. When the report is processed, the report is exported into a datamart or other format and made available for access by the user through one or more different types of user devices. The user may then further manipulate or export the results from the datamart to a file type as desired.

  • Patent number: 8522192
Abstract: A system and method for facilitating the performance of administrator tasks in performing changes to enterprise level data that is associated with various users. The method includes the steps of generating a login dialog box to accept login information from an administrator; establishing a connection to at least one project source name; providing an outline to the administrator, the outline facilitating the creation and submission of command based instruction by providing syntax for a purpose, the outline being maintained in a predetermined folder; and providing a history feature to save a set instructions that were executed successfully.

  • Patent number: 7836178
Abstract: A technique for limiting access to the resources of a system is disclosed. In one embodiment, wherein the system has a server for processing requests, and wherein the server supports a plurality of projects, the technique includes receiving a request to access the resources of the system. The request is denied based upon an application level and a setting level, wherein the application level is associated with one of a plurality of functional layers within the system that is affected by the request, and wherein the setting level is a limiting value associated with one of the server alone and the server with one or more of the plurality of projects. The limiting value limits an operation on one of the plurality of functional layers, thereby limiting access to the resources of the system.

  • Patent number: 7801967
Abstract: A method and system for implementing database connection mapping for mapping a user who may be associated with a group of users to an appropriate database via a database connection wherein the database connection comprises information for locating and logging into the appropriate database. A centralized server may control the access to databases, thereby ensuring efficient use of database resources. A user may log into a server and then be mapped to an appropriate database via a database name and login, provided by a database connection. Database connection mapping may provide the ability to map multiple users to the same database login as well as the ability to map different users to different database logins.

  • Patent number: 7617201
Abstract: A system and method for monitoring and analyzing statistics regarding informational and transactional data is provided. Data distribution servers provide e-mail and other messages of topical interest to a subset of the subscribers. The content may be generated by an OLAP based channel database system, and the output may also be communicated to individuals via spreadsheet programs data, pager, telephone, mobile phone, fax, personal digital assistants, HTML e-mail and other formats, including a workbook file attachment. Statistics regarding the provided reports are generated and compiled. Analysis of the statistics may enable evaluations of system performance, application usage, and optimal configurations for the system.

  • Patent number: 7509671
Abstract: The methods and systems of the invention provide for processing of jobs, that comprise one or more reports to be processed in a reporting system, by assigning a priority to a job. The priority may include a queue or a queue set priority, as well as a sub-queue priority in accordance with some embodiments of the methods and systems of the invention. Once the priority is assigned, the job is placed into a selected queue, selected from a plurality of possible queues, based on the queue priority assigned to the job. The job may also be designated to a particular sub-queue within the selected queue, i.e., based on the sub-queue priority. Then, the job is processed based on the priority.

  • Patent number: 6859798
Abstract: An intelligence server for a reporting system is disclosed. The reporting system may include a report initiation module, such as a user engine or calling application, for generating a request for a report. The intelligence server includes a server layer for receiving the generated request and for coordinating a flow of a processing of the received request; an application logic layer which includes business intelligence rules used for generating the report; and an analytical layer, in communication with the user engine and the server layer, for receiving the request to be processed from the server layer, transmitting the processed request to one or more data storage devices, and for extracting data from the data storage devices responsive to the transmitted request. The extracted data is then processed by the applications in the application logic layer to generate the report and the processing is independent of a user interface.
