  • Publication number: 20160231981
Abstract: A first example playback device includes one or more processors and a non-transitory computer-readable medium storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the first playback device to perform functions. The functions include generating a mixed audio signal comprising one or more components of a first audio stream and one or more components of a second audio stream; and playing the mixed audio signal, where the one or more components of the second audio stream of the mixed audio signal played by the first playback device are played in synchrony with a second playback device configured to play the second audio stream. An example non-transitory computer-readable medium and an example method, both related to the first example playback device, are also disclosed herein.

  • Publication number: 20160224314
Abstract: A network device transmits to at least one playback device, audio information and playback timing information, wherein the audio information is associated with a first timestamp and a second timestamp; wherein the first timestamp and the second timestamp identify a time to playback the audio information; and wherein the playback timing information comprises the first timestamp. After transmitting the audio information and playback timing information, the network device receives while playback of the audio information is paused via the network interface, a command to resume playback of the audio information; wherein the audio information is paused prior to a time indicated by the first timestamp and second timestamp to play back the audio information. The network device instructs the at least one playback device to update the first timestamp, and updates the second timestamp to facilitate playback the audio information in synchrony.

  • Publication number: 20160062606
Abstract: An example implementation may involve receiving, via a radio interface, a radio transmission indicating a particular playback device of a media playback system. Based on the received radio transmission, the implementation may further involve determining that the device is within a given proximity to a zone of the media playback system that includes the particular playback device. Based on determining that the device is within the given proximity to the zone of the media playback system, the implementation may also involve causing the graphical interface to display an indication of (i) an identifier of the zone and (ii) a characteristic of the zone.

  • Publication number: 20150252313
Abstract: The present application relates to delivery particles comprising benefit agents, and products comprising such delivery particles, as well as processes for making and using such delivery particles and products comprising such delivery particles. The process of making such particles does not unduly degrade the benefit agent and when such particles are employed in a product, they are stable, yet they release the desired amount of benefit agent when such product is used as intended.

  • Publication number: 20150038968
Abstract: The Intramedullary Nail System including Tang-deployment Screw with Male Interface includes a nail for insertion into the intramedullary canal of the femur and a lag screw for insertion through the nail, into the femoral head of the femur. The nail is held within the intramedullary canal of the femur, affixed internally by the lag screw and tangs, without the use of screws that penetrate the surface of the bone, and without requiring significant x-ray exposure. For nails of small diameter, a coupler, with two female ends, allows the diameter of the male/female interface between the driver and the actuator, which in turn extends the tangs, to be increased. This increase is possible because the lower section of the nail, where the talons are stored prior to extension, is of a larger diameter than the remainder of the nail.
