  • Publication number: 20220260679
Abstract: A system includes a lidar system having a light emitter and a light detector and a computer having a processor and a memory storing instructions executable by the processor to demodulate modulated light received by the light detector to extract data from the modulated light. The lidar system receives data both by illuminating a field of view (FOV) of the lidar system and detecting returned light reflected by objects in the field of view FOV and by demodulating the modulated light that is received by the lidar system. The lidar system may combine data from both of these sources.

  • Publication number: 20170068786
Abstract: The present invention extends to methods, systems, and computer program products for sharing healthcare information in private collaborative networks. A hierarchy of rules includes patient rules for each of one or more patients. For each patient, the patient rules define a private collaborative network for sharing healthcare information related to the patient among a plurality of designated entities. A computer stores healthcare information related to the one or more patients. The computer receives request from entities requesting access to stored healthcare information related to the one or more patients. The computer refers to patient's rules within the hierarchy of rules to determine what, if any, subset of the patient's stored healthcare information is accessible to the requesting entity. The computer provides accessible subsets of stored healthcare information to the requesting entity in accordance with the patient rules.

  • Patent number: 8807425
Abstract: A portable asset tagging system, process and computer writeable medium including at least one tag exhibiting a QR code along with a separate unique identification number printed thereon, the tag also identifying a site address accessibly by a member user and associated with the system. A software program is incorporated into a processor integrated device used to access the site address and exhibiting a visual display and includes user enterable fields for creating a member profile and for identifying and pairing the asset to the tag in order to establish ownership with information derived from the member profile. Upon the item being lost and subsequently found, the finder entering the unique identification number or scanning the QR code in order to uncover at least one additional data field which draws information from the member entered fields in order to facilitate return of the lost item.

  • Publication number: 20140108025
Abstract: The present invention extends to methods, systems, and computer program products for collecting and transferring physiological data. Different physiological monitoring appliances can be attached to a portable physiological data collection device. Each physiological monitoring appliance can collect a different physiological data (blood glucose data, heart rate data, etc.) from an individual. Different physiological data can be collected and stored at the portable physiological data collection device. In response to a triggering event, a connection can be established to an external computer system. The stored physiological data can be transferred over the established connection to the external computer system. In some embodiments, the external computer system is a healthcare server that shares collected physiological data as well as other healthcare information with designated entities (e.g., family, doctors, etc.).

  • Patent number: 4644326
Abstract: An environmentally protected keyboard display and input device is provided which may be utilized in conjunction with a variety of digital control systems such as automated bank tellers or building security systems. The keyboard display and input device includes a unitary, transparent flexible keyboard having thickened portions forming keys. The keyboard forms an environmental seal including a peripheral gasket to protect an underlying, transparent, pressure sensitive switching assembly, which, in turn, overlies a corresponding visual display of alphanumeric characters which indicate the significance of the individual pressure sensitive switches and corresponding keys overlying each character. Pins are formed on the underside of the flexible keyboard, below each key, to focus and concentrate pressure exerted on each key to the corresponding pressure sensitive switch below.
