  • Publication number: 20240144696
Abstract: A method of determining information related to a road user in an environment of a vehicle includes receiving, from vehicle sensors, a digital image and a Lidar point cloud. The digital image and the Lidar point cloud represent a scene in the environment of the vehicle. The method includes detecting a road user in the scene based on the received digital image and Lidar point cloud. The method includes generating a combined digital representation of the detected road user by combining corresponding image data and Lidar data associated with the detected road user. The method includes determining information related to the detected road user by processing the combined digital representation of the detected road user.

  • Publication number: 20240039364
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a covering, such as a casing, for a component of an electrical drive system. Components of this kind are, for example, the electric motor or the inverter of an electric motor. Both the inverter and the electric motor itself generate noise at high frequencies, for instance between 6 kHz and 12 kHz, due to the switch elements used in them. These noises should not escape to the exterior because they are disruptive in terms of both frequency and volume. The present disclosure shows a cover for absorbing these noises, that is cost-effective and can be arranged close to the electric motor and its components.

  • Publication number: 20230377352
Abstract: Methods and systems are described that implement determining one or more characteristics of the interior of a vehicle that lead to a reliable detection or observation of objects even if the direct line of sight between the objects and the camera is occluded. In an aspect, a computer implemented method includes the following operations carried out by computer hardware components: determining an image of an area of a cabin inside a vehicle using a sensor, the image including at least one first region representing the area reflected by at least one reflective surface provided in the cabin and at least one second region representing the area in a direct line of sight; and determining one or more characteristics inside the cabin of the vehicle based on at least one of: the at least one first region of the image; or the at least one second region of the image.

  • Publication number: 20220242453
Abstract: The prediction system for predicting an information related to a pedestrian has a tracking module that detects and tracks in real-time a pedestrian in an operating area, from sensor data; a machine-learning prediction module that performs a prediction of information at future times related to the tracked pedestrian using a machine-learning algorithm from input data including data of the tracked pedestrian transmitted by the tracking module and map data of the operating area; a pedestrian behavior assessment module that determines additional data of the tracked pedestrian representative of a real time behavior of the pedestrian, and said additional data of the tracked pedestrian is used by the machine-learning prediction module as another input data to perform the prediction.
