  • Publication number: 20240131930
Abstract: An embodiment method for automatized selection and documentation of personal highlights during journeys with a vehicle includes capturing journey data during a journey of the vehicle, the journey data including audio, image, or video data taken of an interior or an exterior of the vehicle, storing selected aspects of the journey data to a non-transient data storage in response to a trigger criteria being met during the journey in an associated driving situation, and generating a selection of personal journey highlights based on the selected aspects stored during the journey for presentation during or after the journey.

  • Publication number: 20050207832
Abstract: A framework construction, for example, a bookshelf or the like, consists of a plurality of profiled carriers with two types of profiled carriers being provided. The first profiled carrier(s) have tapped holes arranged vertically in relation to the longitudinal axis thereof and are to be transversally mounted, i.e. depth-wise, while the second profiled carrier(s) have axially arranged threaded bolts on the ends thereof, and are to be mounted length-wise and height-wise. At least one of the threaded bolts can be axially displaced and rotatably mounted. The threaded bolt comprises an engaging device on its free end, which enables it to be screw down, for example, by a simple spanner. In this way, the framework construction consists of only two parts. Additional connection or fixing elements are not required. The framework construction is very suitable for self-assembly.

  • Publication number: 20030165354
Abstract: The invention relates to a device that comprises a shaft (1) and a hub (2) mounted on said shaft (1). Said hub (2) has an opening (3) which has a composite profile in the direction of its axis (A). Said profile comprises a cylindrical section (Z) and a conical section (K1). The cone-generating angle alpha of the cone (K1) is smaller or equal 5 degree. The transition (e) between the mentioned sections (Z, K1) of the profile is located in the hub opening (3), approximately in the center section of the hub width (B).

  • Patent number: 6416245
Abstract: The device comprises a shaft (1) and a hub (2) which is attached to said shaft. One of the edges (10) of the opening (5) in the hub (2) through which the shaft (1) should be passed has a curved profile (11). This profile (11) of the hub edge (10) is tangentially connected to the inner surface (6) of the hub opening (5).

  • Patent number: 5307708
Abstract: A camshaft for controlling the valves in internal combustion engines, including a shaft 1 and at least one forged cam slid- or pushed-upon the shaft and solidly connected with it, with the cam having an opening for receiving the shaft. The shaft having a segment with an increased diameter at the location of the cam compared to the other regions or segments of the shaft, this region is manufactured rollers or rolls, wherein circumferential beads or webs are generated by material displacement in the circumferential direction of the shaft, the opening in the cam for receiving the shaft is widened in a funnel-shaped manner at least on one side and at least over a portion of its axial length, and the dimension of the mouth aperture of the funnel-shaped widening corresponds approximately to the radial height of the beads or webs.

  • Patent number: 4947547
Abstract: A camshaft for controlling valves in internal combustion engines includes a shaft and at least one cam slid onto and connected to the shaft. The cam has a recess for receiving the shaft. The recess has at least one radially inwardly directed projection which engages a corresponding groove in the shaft. At least one portion of the area of the shaft in which the cam is to be provided has a diameter which is greater than the remaining areas of the shaft. The increased diameter portion of the shaft is a bead-like material displacement which extends circumferentially on the shaft and is manufactured by rolling. The cam is forced onto the increased diameter portion of the shaft with a projection in the recess of the cam forming in a chip-removing operation a groove in the increased diameter portion.

  • Patent number: 4899615
Abstract: A cam member is formed with an axial bore slightly larger than the outer diameter of a cam shaft so as to enable easy insertion of the cam shaft therein when forming an assembly. A recess is provided between the axial bore and the cam shaft and a joinder piece is inserted in the recess with solder being retained in the joinder piece so that upon heating of the solder with the joinder piece located within the recess means, the cam member and the shaft member may be affixed together.

  • Patent number: 4774852
Abstract: A camshaft for actuating the valve tappets in internal combustion engines includes a shaft of a cold drawn pipe and a cam member. Both parts are connected to one another via an axially slotted tolerance ring. The bore of the cam member has an inwardly directed projection with essentially radially extending sides and a partially cylindrical surface having a curvature which corresponds to the curvature of the shaft. The edges forming the slot of the tolerance ring rest against the sides of the projection. The resulting circumferential bracing of the tolerance ring ensures a secure support of the cam member on the shaft. The projection is located in that angular range of the cam member in which the rotating cam during operation is in contact with the tappet to be actuated. Thus, the cam member is additionally braced by the cylindrical surface of the projection when the highest radial force acts on the cam member during a full rotation.

  • Patent number: 4640452
Abstract: A device for driving nails, staples and similar fastening elements includes an electromotor for rotating a driving member. The rotation of the driving member is transferred to a driven member which, in turn, converts the rotational movement into translational movement. The rotational movement from the driving member to the driven member is effected for a limited time period by a clutch so that a drive stroke and a return stroke are carried out. A releasing device actuates the clutch.

  • Patent number: 4530454
Abstract: A device for driving nails and similar fastening elements includes a driver rod performing a reciprocating stroke-like movement for placing the nails. A rotating driving element transmits the driving power to the driver rod so that it carries out the stroke-like movement. During the nail driving operation, the rotating driving element is coupled with the driver rod by a carrier. The carrier is secured to the driving element and moves along an elongated path in converting the rotational movement of the driving element into the stroke-like movement of the driver rod.
