  • Publication number: 20230381829
Abstract: A pressure washer includes a main line through which, via a high-pressure pump, liquid can be conveyed to a spray opening, and a main valve. The main valve, when in a closed state, prevents liquid from flowing through the main line and, when in an open state, allows liquid to flow through the main line. The main valve is switchable between open and closed via an operator-controlled element. The main line has a suction chamber between the connection and the pump and a pressure chamber between the pump and the spray opening. The pressure chamber is fluidically connected to the suction chamber via a bypass line. A free cross-sectional area of the bypass line is settable via a bypass valve in the bypass line for regulating pressure in the pressure chamber. The bypass valve is adjustable via the operator-controlled element for setting the free cross-sectional area of the bypass line.

  • Publication number: 20230001457
Abstract: A high-pressure cleaning appliance includes a connection for a liquid source, a delivery pump, a motor for driving the delivery pump, a delivery line through which liquid can be delivered from the connection to a spraying-out opening of the delivery line via the delivery pump, and a valve which is arranged in the delivery line. The motor has two operating states. The two operating states include an off state and an on state. The valve has two valve states, wherein the two valve states include a closed state and an open state. In the closed state, the valve prevents a flow of liquid through the delivery line. In the open state, the valve allows a flow of liquid through the delivery line. The high-pressure cleaning appliance is structurally configured in such a way that the adjustment of the operating state of the motor is possible only if the valve is in the open state.

  • Patent number: 8851262
Abstract: A coupling device actuated by centrifugal force has a holder and at least one flyweight supported on the holder so as to be moveable in a radial direction relative to an axis of rotation about which the coupling device is rotatable. The flyweight is movable between an inner radial position and an outer radial position. At least one spring acting on the flyweight is provided that forces the flyweight into the inner radial position. At least one securing element secures at least one component of the coupling device in an axial direction of the axis of rotation. The securing element is monolithically formed on the flyweight.

  • Patent number: 8000879
Abstract: A two-stroke engine has a fuel supply device, an intake passage formed partially in the fuel supply device, and an air filter with clean air chamber. The intake passage upstream of the fuel supply device is connected to the clean air chamber. A partition divides the intake passage downstream of the fuel supply device into a supply passage for fuel-free air and a mixture passage for fuel/air mixture. A throttle valve is supported in the intake passage and aligned in at least one operating state with the partition. A pressure differential between the mixture passage and the supply passage is determined, and in a method for operating such a two-stroke engine, fuel is supplied into the intake passage by a fuel supply valve in the operating state substantially only when the pressure in the mixture passage is not greater than the pressure in the supply passage.

  • Patent number: 7201120
Abstract: A two-cycle engine having a piston reciprocalbly mounted in a cylinder in which a combustion chamber is formed. In prescribed positions of the piston, the combustion chamber communicates with a crankcase via at least one transfer channel. A portion of an intake channel for supplying fuel/air mixture and combustion air is formed in a carburetor, in which is pivotably mounted a butterfly valve for controlling the flow cross-section of the intake channel. A fuel opening opens into the intake channel portion, and downstream of the carburetor the intake channel is divided into a mixture channel and an air channel. A mechanism is disposed on the butterfly valve to increase the speed of flow in the carburetor in the vicinity of the fuel opening.
