Abstract: A measuring device for phase-coherent analysis of frequency-hopping signals is provided. The measuring device comprises a signal acquisition unit and an analyzing unit. Whereas the signal acquisition unit is configured to obtain an In-phase/Quadrature-phase-signal (I/Q-signal) and to provide said I/Q-signal for the analyzing unit, the analyzing unit is configured to detect hop occurrences at nominal hop frequencies based on the provided I/Q-signal. In addition to this, the analyzing unit is further configured to specify at least one common reference frequency with respect to the hop occurrences.

  • Patent number: 10107896
Abstract: A measuring device for measuring a radar signal is provided. The radar signal is generated from a digital reference signal. The measuring device comprises a memory configured to store a digitized radar signal derived from the radar signal and the digital reference signal. The measuring device further comprises a radar compression filter configured to filter the digitized radar signal, resulting in a correlation of the digitized radar signal with the digital reference signal. The measuring device further comprises a frequency shifter configured to successively perform a frequency shift of either the digital reference signal or the radar signal with at least two simulated Doppler shift frequencies.

  • Patent number: 10088554
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for determining a deviation of a broadband measurement signal from a reference signal. The method provides the steps: subdivision of the signal into at least two measurement-signal frequency bands; displacement of the measurement-signal frequency bands; and reconstruction of the at least two measurement-signal frequency bands. A corresponding measurement device is also contained within the idea of the invention.

  • Publication number: 20180059142
Abstract: An arrangement for signal analysis provides at least one central data-processing unit and a screen unit connected to the at least one central data-processing unit, wherein the central data-processing unit calculates a spectrum and a spectrogram from a digitised signal. The at least one central data-processing unit is embodied in such a manner that it controls the screen unit in such a manner that the spectrogram of the digitised signal, the characteristic of the spectrum of the digitised signal and the characteristic of the digitised signal present in the time domain can be displayed together on the screen unit.

  • Patent number: 9363698
Abstract: At the start of a method for analyzing a communications signal with a frequency-mask trigger unit and a selection unit, a mask which describes a trigger range for the frequency-mask trigger unit is defined in the frequency domain, in frequency and amplitude. Furthermore, within the selection unit, an application is allocated to the mask. The frequency-mask trigger unit then checks whether the spectrum of the communications signal violates the mask. Finally, the signal component of the communications signal which violates the mask is transferred to the application for a further evaluation by the selection unit.
