  • Patent number: 10996793
Abstract: Systems and methods for correcting a vibration-induced error on a touch screen display device on an aircraft are provided. A method can include providing a user interface for display on a touch screen display device. The user interface can include one or more virtual elements associated with functions to be performed by a component of the aircraft. The method can include receiving data indicative of an actual user interaction with the touch screen display device. The method can include receiving data indicative of an intended user interaction. The method can include receiving data indicative of a sensed vibration. The method can include determining a corrected user interaction corresponding to a selected virtual element based on the data received. The method can also include sending one or more command signals to one or more components to perform a function associated with the selected virtual element.

  • Patent number: 10922040
Abstract: Systems and methods of displaying data are provided. For instance, a display system associated with a vehicle can include a first display implemented within a display housing, a transparent cover disposed over the first display device, and a second display device implemented within the display housing. The second display device overlays at least a portion of the first display device. The display system can further include one or more control devices configured to provide for display first display data on the first display device, and to provide for display second display data on the second display device.

  • Publication number: 20190179739
Abstract: Facilitating generation of standardized tests for touchscreen gesture evaluation based on computer generated model data is provided. A system comprises a memory (110) that stores executable components and a processor (112), operatively coupled to the memory, that executes the executable components. The executable components can comprise a mapping component (102) that correlates a set of operating instructions to a set of touchscreen gestures and a sensor component (104) that receives sensor data from a plurality of sensors. The sensor data can be related to implementation of the set of touchscreen gestures. The set of touchscreen gestures can be implemented in an environment that experiences vibration or turbulence. Further, the executable components can comprise an analysis component (106) that analyzes the sensor data and assesses respective performance data and usability data of the set of touchscreen gestures relative to respective operating instructions.
