Patent number: 9358563Abstract: A back pack sprayer apparatus for spraying liquids. The apparatus includes an integrally molded structure having an upper tank portion and a lower frame portion. A support stand can be connected to the molded structure, the support stand defining a supporting plane when the apparatus is in an upright position on the ground. The molded structure can have a front side defining a compound curve having an upper concave curve configured to receive an operator's back, and a lower convex curve terminating in a lowermost distal end forming a rearward angle of at least about 20 degrees with an axis normal to the supporting plane. The apparatus can include a pump, a hose, and a sprayer. A cover can be attached to the lower frame portion concealing the pump. The apparatus can include peripheral flanges and a lower drip rail which can help prevent liquid from contacting an operator.Type: GrantFiled: February 21, 2014Date of Patent: June 7, 2016Assignee: Tractor Supply CompanyInventors: Brian Kennemer, Luke W. Patent number: 7007306Abstract: A face shield assembly including a frame and a removable protective element supported by the frame is disclosed herein. The protective element is removably supported in an opening of the frame by a channel, without the use of fasteners. Because the face shield lacks fasteners, it is easy to remove and replace, even with the use of gloves. In one embodiment, the frame is molded as a single, unitary member and includes an upper detent, a lower detent and a channel formed between a lip and the frame that receives an edge of the protective element in order to hold the protective element within the frame. In another embodiment, the frame is pivotally supported on a support structure such that the frame can be moved between an upper (out of use) and a lower (in use) position, and may further include an adjustable mounting member so that the frame can be selectively spaced relative to the user's head.Type: GrantFiled: November 4, 2003Date of Patent: March 7, 2006Assignee: Bacou-Dalloz Eye & Face Protection, Inc.Inventors: Jeremy C. Publication number: 20030205496Abstract: A pill container has a body with a plurality of separate compartments with each compartment having an opening to provide access into the separate compartments. A plurality of lids are attached to the body over the openings wherein each lid has an open position providing access to a selected one or more of the compartments. The lids also have a closed position preventing access to a selected one or more of the compartments. Each lid has a latching mechanism for maintaining the lids in the closed position. An unlocking mechanism is movable to a position to unlock a selected one or more of the lids so that the unlocked lids may be opened, while one or more of the remaining lids are maintained in the closed position.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 2, 2003Publication date: November 6, 2003Inventors: Jeremy C. Patent number: 6286168Abstract: A bicycle repair tool includes a handle and a plurality of repair tools pivotably mounted at one end of the handle. A planar bridge connects the left and right side walls of the handle and serves as a rest surface for the repair tools in their undeployed position. The repair tool further includes a chain tool mounted within the handle and slidably supported at an opposite end thereof. The handle defines an elongated slot at the opposite end sized to slidably receive the threaded collar of the chain tool. The handle of the chain tool defines an opening and the planar bridge defines a correspondingly configured raised boss to hold the chain tool within the repair tool handle when the chain tool handle is in contact with the planar bridge. The raised boss can include a sloped surface to facilitate sliding the chain tool out of the repair tool handle. The chain tool includes a pressure screw having an internal hex head configured to be driven by one of the repair tools.Type: GrantFiled: September 11, 2000Date of Patent: September 11, 2001Assignee: Pedro's USAInventors: Wendell J. Patent number: 6213575Abstract: A kitchen countertop assembly includes multiple, integrated work spaces having associated surfaces which can be adjusted vertically. At least two of the work surfaces can be individually, vertically adjusted relative to the remainder of the work surfaces. In accordance with the most preferred form of the invention, first, second and third work surfaces are defined by an overall kitchen island, with the first work surface being defined by a main countertop, the second work surface being defined by a tabletop supported above a portion of the first work surface by a pair of spaced pillars which project through the countertop and into a base of the assembly, and a third work surface is constituted by a table which projects from the base at a position offset from the countertop. With this arrangement, each of the countertop, tabletop and table member can be raised or lowered, either simultaneously or individually, in order to customize the overall kitchen countertop assembly to a particular user.Type: GrantFiled: November 15, 1999Date of Patent: April 10, 2001Assignee: Maytag CorporationInventors: George G.
