  • Publication number: 20250032260
Abstract: An apparatus for testing cardiac devices comprises an inflow and an outflow chamber, a mount for supporting a prosthetic valve, and a fluid driving device operable to vary a pressure differential of a fluid between the inflow chamber and the outflow chamber in repeating cycles. The apparatus can comprise a bypass valve to modulate pressure characteristics across the prosthetic valve, reservoirs to maintain a pressure inside the apparatus, and compliance elements to modulate pressure characteristics in the apparatus. Methods for operating the apparatus include controlling the bypass valve to control testing characteristics across the prosthetic device, and methods for monitoring the pressure inside of the apparatus.

  • Patent number: 12194824
Abstract: A two wheeled throwable robot with a pair of motorized wheels mounted on each end of an elongate body and a rearwardly extending tail. The body comprising a chassis with an accessory mounting interface on top side and rearward side. A backpack accessory providing active sensing or environmental effects has an inverted L-shape when viewed from an end and attaches to the rearward side of the elongate body and extends over the topside of the body. The stabilizing tail for the two wheeled robot attaches to a rearward surface of the backpack accessory. The robot and backpack accessory have impact protection means when the robot is thrown. The backpack accessory may be within a zone of protection defined by the maximum deflection of the wheels or may have elastomeric bumpers when the accessory backpack projects out of the zone of protection.

  • Patent number: 12180823
Abstract: A downhole packer system includes a swellable material configured to expand to seal against a wellbore wall in response to exposure to downhole fluids. The downhole packer system also includes at least one sensor disposed proximate the swellable material. The at least one sensor is configured to measure one or more electrical properties of the swellable material to determine a degree of expansion of the swellable material.

  • Patent number: 12173600
Abstract: A downhole valve position sensing system includes a magnetic material that is shiftable by an actuation member of a downhole valve to a plurality of positions along a downhole valve from a first position of the plurality of positions along the downhole valve. The downhole valve position sensing system also includes a sensor assembly that is mechanically coupled to the downhole valve and comprising a magnetic sensor that is configured to detect a magnetic signal generated by the magnetic material at a set of positions of the plurality of positions along the downhole valve.

  • Patent number: 12152487
Abstract: Apparatus and methods for measuring the oil to water ratio of a wellbore fluid. An example method includes flowing the wellbore fluid into a flow path of a fluid identification device disposed on the outside of a wellbore tubing and within a wellbore annulus. The fluid identification device comprises a shroud, the flow path disposed within the shroud that opens to the wellbore annulus and fluidically links the wellbore annulus to the wellbore tubing thereby allowing fluid flow through the flow path from the wellbore annulus to the wellbore tubing, and an alternating current electrical sensor disposed within the flow path. The method further includes measuring a property of the wellbore fluid with the alternating current electrical sensor when the wellbore fluid has flowed into the flow path and determining the oil to water ratio of the wellbore fluid that flowed through the flow path.

  • Patent number: 12155592
Abstract: Embodiments of methods in a base station and a UE are disclosed. In some embodiments, a method implemented in a network node includes any one or more of: selectively puncturing transmission of LTE CRS symbols that overlap NR DMRS symbols in a downlink transmission time interval; selectively puncturing transmission of NR DMRS symbols that overlap LTE CRS symbols in the downlink transmission time interval; and selectively reducing a number of NR DMRS symbols transmitted to the UE in the downlink transmission time interval. In some embodiments, a method implemented in a UE includes identifying, in a downlink channel, subchannels containing NR DMRS symbols that are corrupted due to collision with LTE CRS symbols. For each identified subchannel: a respective time averaged channel estimate is determined based on NR DMRS symbols that are not corrupted due to collision with the LTE CRS symbols; and a respective MMSE weight is determined using the time averaged channel estimate.

  • Publication number: 20240381111
Abstract: A method and apparatus are disclosed for LTE-NR spectrum sharing. In one embodiment, a method for a wireless device (WD) includes obtaining a configuration of at least one reference signal of a first radio access technology that overlaps in time with a Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Service Single Frequency Network (MBSFN) subframe of a second radio access technology. In another embodiment, a method for a network node includes configuring at least one reference signal of a first radio access technology to overlap in time with a MBSFN subframe of a second radio access technology.
