Abstract: This application relates to an image capturing method and apparatus, a computer device, a storage medium, and a computer program product, for performing contactless biometric authentication. The contactless biometric authentication technique may include in response to a virtual character display operation triggered by a target part of a target object, controlling a display element to display a virtual character; controlling a character posture of the virtual character based on a relative position of the target part relative to an image capturing element; and when the duration in which the character posture of the virtual character remains a preset posture satisfies a preset capturing condition, triggering the image capturing element to capture an image of the target part.

Abstract: A method for guiding palm verification performed by a computer device is disclosed. The method includes: displaying a guidance interface for palm verification, the guidance interface including graphical guidance information and the graphical guidance information comprising a movable element in a moving region, and a display location of the movable element in the moving region indicating a current distance between a palm and a detection device; dynamically adjusting the display location of the movable element in the moving region on the guidance interface in response to a change of the current distance between the palm and the detection device; and displaying first prompt information for indicating starting of verification or completion of verification when the display location of the movable element in the moving region meets a preset condition.

Abstract: This application discloses a palm image recognition method performed by a computer device. The method includes: performing palm detection on a palm image captured by a camera to generate a palm box for a palm in the palm image (304); determining location information of the palm relative to the camera based on the palm box and the palm image; and displaying a palm identifier corresponding to the palm based on the location information, the palm identifier being used for indicating the palm to move to a preset spatial location corresponding to the camera to obtain an object identifier corresponding to the palm image. A user, based on the palm identifier, moves its palm to the preset spatial location corresponding to the camera to perform palm image recognition.

Abstract: This application relates to an image acquisition method performed by a computer device. The method includes: displaying a mapping pattern corresponding to a key area of a target part of a target object in response to a pattern display operation triggered by the target object; changing a display state of the currently displayed mapping pattern when a relative position of the target part relative to an image acquisition element changes; and acquiring a key area image of the target part contactlessly by using the image acquisition element when the currently displayed mapping pattern matches a preset recognition pattern.
