  • Publication number: 20230388253
Abstract: The present invention provides a packet forwarding system including a packet, a packet analyzer and a DMA module. The packet buffer is configured to receive a packet and store the packet. The packet analyzer is configured to read the packet from the packet buffer, and analyze the packet to extract part of content of the packet to generate specific data. The DMA module is configured to write the specific data into a first buffer of a storage device, and write the packet into a second buffer of the storage device.

  • Publication number: 20230345303
Abstract: A communications device and a method for receiving an aggregate packet are provided. The communications device includes an aggregate packet de-aggregation device and a transmission interface. The aggregate packet de-aggregation device is configured to generate multiple subframe packets according to the aggregate packet, wherein a length of each of the multiple subframe packets is less than a length of the aggregate packet. The transmission interface is configured to couple the communications device to a host device, and transmits the multiple subframe packets to the host device, to allow the host device to pre-allocate multiple buffering spaces for receiving the multiple subframe packets according to a maximum allowable length of any of the multiple subframe packets.

  • Patent number: 11757800
Abstract: A network interface device, an electronic device including same, and a method of operating same are provided. The network interface device is coupled to a host including a storage circuit. The network interface device includes a processing circuit and a packet receiving circuit which is used for receiving multiple network packets. The processing circuit performs the following steps: parsing the network packets to obtain multiple sequence numbers of the network packets; reordering the network packets based on the sequence numbers to generate reorder information; appending the reorder information to one of the network packets and generating packet order information, or generating the packet order information containing the reorder information; storing the packet order information in the storage circuit; and issuing an interrupt to the host. The packet receiving circuit or the processing circuit stores the network packets in the storage circuit before the processing circuit issues the interrupt.

  • Patent number: 9405000
Abstract: A positioning method and a positioning system based on light intensity are provided. The positioning system comprises a lighting system, a sense feedback device and a positioning module. The lighting system comprises at least three point light sources and sequentially adjusts luminance of these point light sources to light up a target. The sense feedback device is disposed on the target and used to collect light intensity information of the light projected on the target by the lighting system. The positioning module calculates a distance between the target and each of the point light sources based on the light intensity information and calculates a positioning location of the target based on the locations of the point light sources and the distances between the target and the point light sources.

  • Patent number: 8149803
Abstract: An apparatus for a beacon-enabled wireless network, a transmission time determination method, and a tangible machine-readable medium thereof are provided. The apparatus is located within the coverage area of the first equipment. The second equipment is located within the coverage area of the apparatus. The apparatus comprises a receive/transmission module and a decision module. The receive/transmission module is configured to receive the beacon of the first equipment. The decision module is configured to decide information of an upload time slot and a download time slot of the apparatus according to the beacon so that the receive/transmission module can perform data transmission with the first equipment by the upload time slot and perform data transmission with the second equipment by the download time slot. According to the aforementioned allocations, transmission collisions can be avoided and delay of transmission times is decreased.
