Abstract: A detecting device is used for detecting a battery leak, a positive terminal of the battery is electrically connected to a first contact, a negative terminal of the battery is electrically connected to a second contact. The detecting device includes a first conductor, a second conductor electrically connected to the second contact, and a warning unit electrically connected between the first contact and the first conductor. The second conductor being electrically connected to the first conductor through electrolyte leaked out of the battery, thus the warning unit will be actuated to produce a warning signal.

Abstract: An electronic device comprises a first output module, a judgment module, a first switch module, a second output module, an operation module, a second switch module and a play module. The first output module generates a first audio signal. The second output module generates second audio signals. If the first audio signal is generated, the judgment module generates a first control signal. The first switch module switches to the first state and transmits the first audio signal. If the first audio signal is not generated, the judgment module generates a second control signal. The operation module generates a selecting signal. The second switch module switches to a second audio signal according to the selecting signal and transmits to the first switch module. The first switch module switches to the second state and transmits the selected second audio signal. The play module plays the audio signal.

Abstract: An electronic device includes a detection unit, a comparison unit, and a warning unit. The detection unit generates a detection signal. The comparison unit determines whether the detection signal exceeds a predetermined detection signal. If it is determined that the detection signal exceeds the predetermined detection signal, the comparison unit generates a first comparison signal indicating the proximity of an object to the electronic device. The warning unit sends a warning message in response to the first comparison signal.

Abstract: A warning device includes a sensing unit, a comparing unit, a controlling unit and a warning unit. The sensing unit sense whether a part of the body of a person is sticking out of the window and generates a sensing signal. The comparing unit detects if the sensing signal is at least a predetermined value. If it is determined that the sensing signal is at least the predetermined value, a part of the body of the person is sticking out of the window and the comparing unit generates a warning signal. The warning unit is used for generating the alarm, and is capable of alternating between an alarm state and standby state. The controlling unit responds to the warning signal to detect whether the warning unit is in the alarm state, and disables the warning unit to start generating the alarm when the warning unit is in the standby state.

Abstract: An electronic device and a channel management method provide a predetermined channel information table to control channels in a television. Favorite channels are stored in the predetermined channel information table of the electronic device. In a predetermined channel mode, if an input channel code is not stored in the predetermined channel information table, the electronic device automatically adds the input channel code to the predetermined channel information table. If the input channel code is stored in the predetermined channel information table, the electronic device transfers the input channel code to the television and the television changes an active channel accordingly.

Abstract: A remote control device and method, the remote control being changeable between an unlocked state and a locked state includes a communicating unit for allowing the remote control device to communicate with and remotely control a controlled apparatus and a processor electronically connected with the communicating unit. The processor is configured for unlocking the remote control device from the locked state, such that the remote control device communicates with and remotely control the controlled apparatus, and is configured for locking the remote control device into the locked state, such that communication between the remote control device and the controlled apparatus is disabled the remote control device cannot remotely control the controller apparatus. A method for preventing accidental operations of the remote control device is also disclosed.

Abstract: A video display includes a housing, a screen and a protective cover. The housing includes a first side and a second side opposite to the first side. The screen is disposed on the first side of the housing. The protective cover is rotatably connected to the housing and coverable on the screen. The protective cover is capable of being held in any position in the process of rotating from the first side to the second side, as the driving force is removed. A car using the video display is also provided.

Abstract: A theft warning system includes a first electronic device and a second electronic device. The first electronic device is configured for transmitting monitoring signals, wherein the frequency of the monitoring signals is capable of changing according to change in the voltage supplied to the first electronic device. The second electronic device communicates with the first electronic device by receiving the monitoring signals transmitted by the first electronic device, and generating alarms when a frequency of the received monitoring signals is changed. A theft warning method applied to the electronic device is also provided.

The voltage controlled switch establishes an electrical connection between the battery and the load. The start switch turns on the voltage controlled switch when actuated. The voltage detecting unit detects a battery voltage of the battery and generates a detecting voltage according to the battery voltage. The voltage controlled switch is turned off when the detecting voltage is lower than a predetermined value.

Abstract: An audio device includes an internal sound producer, an earphone jack, a detection circuit, a volume adjustor, and an amplifier. The detection circuit detects a connection between the earphone jack and an external sound producer, generates a first state signal when the connection is established, generates a second state signal when no connection is established. The volume adjustor is preset with first predetermined volume levels and second predetermined volume levels, generates first adjustment signals based on the first predetermined volume levels in response to the first state signal, and generates a second adjustment signal based on the second predetermined volume levels in response to the second state signal. The amplifier amplifies audio signals and adjusts the volume of the amplified audio signals according to the adjustment signals, then sends the amplified audio signals to the internal sound producer and earphone jack.
