  • Publication number: 20180169786
Abstract: A method for manufacturing metal strip comprises abutting at least two metal strips to form a abutment interface between each other, then welding the metal strips along the abutment interface by a laser light to form a weld pass with a welding penetration depth between the metal strips, and a reflected light is reflected from the weld pass, and finally receiving the reflected light by a spectrometer which can determine the welding penetration depth according to the reflected light spectrum. A welding parameter can be selectively adjusted according to the welding penetration depth to correct the welding penetration depth in real time, and the follow-up weld pass can conform to the specification for decreasing weld defective ratio.

  • Patent number: 9486872
Abstract: The present invention relates to a manufacturing method for advanced high-strength steel (AHSS) wheel, comprising the following steps. Take an AHSS with at least 590 MPa of tensile strength for rolling to circular ring of a rim. Apply low heat input welding, such as the cold metal transfer (CMT) welding or the gas tungsten arc welding/tungsten inert gas arc welding (GTAW/TIG), at the junction of the rim to form a hollow cylindrical rim. Then perform hole expanding and spinning/roll forming operations to the rim. Take another AHSS with at least 980 MPa of tensile strength for pressing and forming a disk. Apply low heat input welding, such as cold metal transfer (CMT) welding, to the rim and the disk to produce a wheel. According to the present invention, the welding quality of products can be improved significantly; the fatigue lifetime of wheels can be enhanced; and wheels are lightweight.

  • Publication number: 20120305531
Abstract: An automatic welding method includes a preliminary step and a joining step. The preliminary step is configured to place a metal object having a multi-dimensional curved weld zone on a platform, and to clamp a welding torch with a welding torch clamping device. The joining step is configured to generate a relative movement between a tip of the welding torch and the multi-dimensional curved weld zone of the metal object, and to electrify the welding torch to weld the metal object by way of short circuiting arc transfer. An angle difference between a reference position and an instant position of the welding torch is 0 to 135 degrees when the welding torch welds the metal object, so as to keep the slag from spraying, wherein the welding torch is at the reference position when the tip thereof is pointed straight down towards the ground.

  • Publication number: 20100118909
Abstract: The present invention provides a miniature high-power laser diode device, which includes a base, a laser chip, an optical fiber guider, and an optical fiber. The base has a groove and a disposing area, and the groove connects to the disposing area. The laser chip is disposed on the disposing area, and the optical fiber guider is disposed at the groove. The optical fiber is disposed in and through the optical fiber guider. The optical fiber has a first end connected to the laser chip. As a result of the cooperation between the optical fiber guider and the groove, the orientation of the optical fiber is simple and precise. The conventional thermal deformation and residual welding stress can be reduced, and the soldering flux applied in a conventional soldering and packaging process of the optical fiber can be omitted, so that the coupling efficiency, the yield, the stability of high power laser output, and the lifetime of the laser diode device of the present invention can be improved.
