    Abstract: A decorative floating island is provided for a water garden, decorative pond or the like. The island includes a buoyant base for floating on a surface of a body of water. The base has a bottom side in floating engagement with the water and a top side exposed above the water. Landscaping structure covers substantially the entire top side of the buoyant base to substantially hide the base and give the appearance that the decorative floating island is a natural island.
