Patent number: 9139959Abstract: A system includes a guide plate, a fastening member and a resilient member, for fastening a rail on a solid base. The guide plate serves as a guide for the rail in the horizontal direction and as a stop for movements of the rail in the vertical direction. The guide plate has a contacting surface against which the longitudinal side of the foot of the rail rests. The resilient member which rests on the guide plate exerts substantially no hold-down force on the rail and merely supports the guide plate elastically against the clamping member. The resilient member is of a W-shaped or S-shaped configuration and, in the fitted state, a portion thereof projects sufficiently far over the foot of the rail for it to be retained resiliently by the resilient member if it is moved upwards in the vertical direction.Type: GrantFiled: September 14, 2010Date of Patent: September 22, 2015Assignee: Vossloh-Werke GmbHInventors: Winfried Bösterling, Lutz Rademacher, Adrian Bednarczyk

Patent number: 8668152Abstract: A rail securing system comprising at least one angle guide plate allows a perfect retention of the tension clamp in its pre-assembly position and facilitates final assembly. The angle guide plate has recess, which is designed as a seat for a free end section of a spring arm of a tension clamp to be mounted on the angle guide plate, wherein the recess engages around the end section by less than half of its circumference. The transition between the recess and the section of the angle guide plate which follows on from the recess in the direction of the rail is formed such as to be free of any abrupt change, so that the tension clamp can be pushed in a simple manner on the angle guide plate into its assembly position.Type: GrantFiled: June 23, 2009Date of Patent: March 11, 2014Assignee: Vossloh-Werke GmbHInventors: Winfried Bösterling, Lutz Rademacher

Publication number: 20120031991Abstract: The invention provides a system for fastening a rail in place and a rail fastener which, while being simple to install, allow a large measure of freedom in the production of the components required and at the same time have great practical utility. To this end a system according to the invention for fastening a rail to a fixed bottom support comprises: a base plate produced from a plastics material, an intermediate layer which is arranged between the base plate and the fixed bottom support, a carrier plate which is arranged between the intermediate layer and the bottom support, a resilient member to hold down the rail which is to be fastened in place, a clamping bolt to brace the resilient member against the base plate, and a fastening member for fastening the base plate to the fixed bottom support.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 13, 2011Publication date: February 9, 2012Applicant: Vossloh-Werke GmbHInventors: Winfried Bösterling, Lutz Rademacher, Adrian Bednarczyk, André Hunold, Michael Harraß

Publication number: 20110068182Abstract: The invention provides a base plate, and a fastener equipped with such a base plate, whose weight is minimised and whose stiffness is optimised on the one hand and which is suitable for being supported on an elastic intermediate layer on the other hand. To this end, a base plate according to the invention for fastening a rail to a fixed bottom support has, the base plate being made of a plastics material and a stiffening structure which is formed by ribs and by depressions present between the ribs being formed or moulded in the underside of the base plate, which underside is associated with the fixed bottom support, depressions of the stiffening structure being closed off, in accordance with the invention, by a filling material.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 28, 2009Publication date: March 24, 2011Applicant: VOSSLOH-WERKE GMBHInventors: Winfried Bösterling, Lutz Rademacher, Adrian Bednarczyk, André Hunold

Publication number: 20110068184Abstract: A base plate for fastening a rail to a fixed bottom support, there being formed in the base plate an opening, which runs from its upper side to its underside, for an eccentric sleeve, which eccentric sleeve is adjustable in rotation in the opening for a sleeve, about an axis of rotation defined by a fastening member inserted through the eccentric sleeve, to allow changes in the position of the base plate. In the opening for the sleeve are markers for indexing for fixing the position in rotation of the eccentric sleeve, the markers spaced from one another such that, an adjustment of the eccentric sleeve in rotation between two adjacent markers for indexing involves a step-by-step change in the position of the base plate by a defined amount.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 28, 2009Publication date: March 24, 2011Applicant: VOSSLOH-WERKE GMBHInventors: Lutz Rademacher, André Hunold

Guide plate for a system for securing a rail on a substrate and a system comprising such guide plate
Publication number: 20110047786Abstract: A guide plate for securing a rail on a substrate, at which a shoulder is provided at the side of the rail path has an underside facing the substrate and an upper side, lying freely in the installation position and facing away from the underside, on which a spring element is supported. With such a component it is possible to build a rail securing arrangement with a system, in which the forces are dispersed by a shoulder present at or in the solid substrate, whereby a cut-out is formed into the underside, the dimensions of which are adapted to the shoulder such that, in the installation position, the shoulder engages freely into the cut-out, and in that a reinforcement rib is formed at a roof surface opposite an opening of the cut-out, which projects in the direction of the opening over a height which is less than the cut-out.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 11, 2009Publication date: March 3, 2011Applicant: Vossloh-Werke GmbHInventors: Winfried Bösterling, Lutz Rademacher, Farhad Esfandiyari, Michael Steidl -
