Abstract: Methods and systems for reskinning visual objects displayed in electronic games are provided. The methods include creating a master image file of the visual object, where the visual object includes (i) a single-gray color scheme, and (ii) at least one visual enhancement. The methods also include defining at least one color library including a plurality of colors where at least one color is associated with a triggering event within the electronic game. Additionally, the methods include adjusting the single-gray color scheme of the visual object included in the created master image file to a color scheme for the visual object. The color scheme includes the color(s) of the plurality of colors included in the color library. The methods further include displaying the adjusted, color scheme for the visual object in the electronic game.
