The method includes: confirming, by a STA, according to a frame type identifier in a received frame, that the frame is an NDPA frame, and obtaining a STA AID in a STA information field in the NDPA frame; comparing, by the STA, its STA AID with the obtained STA AID, and determining whether its STA AID is the same as the obtained STA AID; and when the STA determines that its STA AID is different from the obtained STA AID, allowing the STA to enter a doze state. The method reduces the power consumption during the TXOP period and saves resources.

Abstract: A method includes: sending an indication frame to an access point AP, where the indication frame includes first indication information and second indication information, the first indication information is used to indicate that a type of the indication frame is a PS-POLL frame, and the second indication information is used to indicate duration of the indication frame; and sending a data frame to the AP within the duration indicated by the second indication information. An STA sends PS-POLL to an AP by using an indication frame and reserves channel duration, so that the STA does not need to contend for a channel again when the STA sends an uplink data frame to the AP after receiving a downlink data frame sent by the AP, which allows the STA to receive downlink data and send uplink data within one TXOPA.

The method comprises: acquiring at least one address of a destination address (DA) and a source address (SA), that are corresponding to data transmission direction information; determining, according to the data transmission direction information, an address field for carrying at least one address of the DA and the SA; and sending the data frame comprising the address field to a receiver. The method and apparatus for transmitting a data frame disclosed by the present invention can reduce overhead of an MAC frame header, improve transmission efficiency, and enable a station to acquire DA and/or SA of a data frame.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method, a device and a system for transmitting data, which relate to the field of network technology. A station sends a request-to-send frame to an access point to obtain a channel, at the same time, the access point actively sends a middle-clear-to-send frame, so as to indicate which stations can send data, thereby reducing the time overhead in the data transmission process, improving the flexibility of the system, and avoiding system errors. Specifically, the method includes: an access point AP receives a request-to-send RTS frame sent by a station STA; sends a middle-clear-to-send MCTS frame to a scheduled STA; receives an F frame sent by the scheduled STA according to the MCTS frame; sends a final-clear-to-send FCTS frame to another scheduled STA; and receives data sent by the another scheduled STA according to the FCTS frame. The present invention is applied to data transmission.

A method for transmitting multi-user data in a reverse direction protocol according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: within a transmission opportunity (TXOP) of a first station, if the TXOP is not over after the first station finishes sending data to an access point (AP), obtaining, by the AP, the TXOP, where the obtaining, by the AP, the TXOP is implemented through granting a remaining part of the TXOP to the access point AP by the first station as a reverse direction protocol initiator; and within the TXOP, sending, by the AP, second data to at least two stations, where the at least two stations include the first station.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide an encoding method for a traffic indication map and a beacon frame, which relate to a communication field, enable a user to know whether there are data cached in an access point or enable a user terminal to know whether to access to a channel, and reduce the quantity of bytes occupied by the traffic indication map in the beacon frame. The encoding method for a traffic indication map provided by the embodiments comprises: controlling whether to display a sub-block bitmap display field in a sub-bitmap by marking at least one bit in a bitmap control field, a sub-block sub-bitmap in the sub-bitmap being used for enabling a user terminal to know whether there are data cached in an access point, or enabling the user terminal to know whether to access to a channel.

Abstract: The embodiments of the present invention provide a method and an apparatus for transmitting a data frame.
