  • Publication number: 20040064838
Abstract: The method is for remotely viewing a performance in real time by providing a first remote viewer, a first camera monitoring a first object to produce a first image and a second camera monitoring a digital pixel area larger than a second moving object disposed within the digital pixel area to produce a second moving image in real time. The first image is updated every first time period and sent the web site. The second image is continuously updated every second time period and sent to the web site. The second time period is shorter than the first time period. The web site superimposes the second image over the first image so that both the second and first images are viewable to the first remote viewer via the network.

  • Patent number: 6366216
Abstract: A method and a system for monitoring a plurality of movable objects, wherein each of the objects is equipped with a transponder with which a stationary node is arranged to communicate. Each transponder is caused to reply to a unique signal from the node and each transponder that sends a response signal gives to the response signal a transponder identification addition. A node is caused to detect the speed and direction at which each transponder moves towards and away from the node. Movement of the transponder relative to the node is evaluated by node associated means on the basis of the speed and direction of the transponder. A register over those transponders with which the node shall communicate is set-up for each node. A plurality of separate nodes are provided and each node is provided with such a register. The nodes are arranged to communicate with one another, so as to enable a node to record in its monitoring register a transponder from another node.

  • Patent number: 4866787
Abstract: A satellite TV system including a plurality of channel strips each including a tuner and a modulator matched to each other. The tuner selects the particular satellite signal and the modulator selects the particular channel on the TV. Both tuner and modulator circuits include a divide-by-two component which permits use of lower cost electronic components while producing high quality TV pictures or other outputs. Each channel strip is in the form of a plug-in module. A control box houses all of the plug-in channel strips and the other electronics.

  • Patent number: 4559536
Abstract: A data transmission device having a plurality of monitor units which are wire connected in series to a computer. During a working cycle, one unit after the other is activated by emission of clock pulses from the computer. The clock pulses are counted in an address counter (4) in the respective unit. Upon reaching a count value preset in an address coder (7) a sequential circuit (6) is activated, the latter consisting of a binary counter (3) and a functional decoder (5) connected thereto. At the same time as clock pulses corresponding to the address of the unit are received via a clock pulse connection ("clock"), a pulse train is emitted via switches (A,B,C,D), the positions of which corresponding to sensed information bits, to a data transmission connection ("data"). The outputs of the sequential circuit (6) are also connected to a control circuit (9) for generating control signals to the particular monitor unit or a sub-system connected thereto.

  • Patent number: 4214265
Abstract: A system for supervising the speed of an object, such as a vehicle, relative to a reference point, wherein a TV-camera is utilized. The TV-camera is mounted at the reference point and directed at a certain, preferably right angle to the direction of movement of the object, so that the field of view of the TV-camera includes a measuring distance. The video output signal from the TV-camera is fed to a black level sensor which in turn activates a pulse generator while the image of the object is passing between two given marking lines on the TV-image corresponding to the measuring distance. The pulses thus generated are counted, and the counted number of pulses constitutes a measure of the speed of the object (i.e., inverse proportionality).
