  • Patent number: 5427195
Abstract: Front and rear wheeled units of vehicle are connected together for articulated steering. Wheels on at least one unit are mounted for swivelling relative to the respective unit to provide kingpin steering in combination with articulation steering. A first embodiment has front and rear kingpin steering and articulation steering performed manually and independently of the each other. In a second embodiment, a steering integrator cooperates with actuators which control at least the articulation steering and kingpin steering of the front wheels to automatically integrate two types of steering so that a controlled relationship exists between an articulation angle of the front unit with respect to the rear unit, and swivel angles of the front wheels with respect to the front unit. A manual steering control, e.g. a steering wheel, controls actuation of the steering integrator.

  • Patent number: 4364191
Abstract: A rake for use with tractors has a blade connectable to a tractor and a plurality of teeth extending from the bottom of the blade. The teeth are pivotally connected to permit movement of the teeth away from objects encountered when the tractor moves. Fluid piston and cylinder combinations interconnect the teeth with the blade so movement of the teeth displaces pressurized fluid within the piston and cylinder combinations. The pressurized fluid reverses the pivotal movement when the teeth clear the objects.

  • Patent number: 4269276
Abstract: A plow attachment assembly for a crawler-type tractor having an elevatable "C" frame which includes a first "V" shaped plow adapted to be rigidly secured to the "C" frame, a second "V" shaped plow which is roller supported for movement over the ground disposed ahead of the first plow and connected to the latter by a strut, the forward end of which is rigidly secured to the second plow and hingedly secured to the first plow for vertical swinging movement and a pair of telescopic spreader arms extending rearwardly from the second plow and having a hinged connection to the "C" frame for moving debris spread by the first plow laterally on opposite sides of the tractor and for levelling top soil plowed by the second plow laterally in the path of the tracks of the tractor.
