A third step involves continuing to react the wetted wood ash residue until the resulting ash residue is substantially carbonated.

    Abstract: Clamp is made by injecting a clear plastic PET-G into a mold which forms a slot and four posts for a stainless steel cutter, when the formed clamp is removed from the mold it is then put into a machine that has a heated tube that will allow the plastic to be softened slightly so it can take on the shape of a spring loaded clamp, then cold air is injected into the tube to make the plastic rigid which allows it to hold its shape, the stainless steel cutter has four holes which were punched into the platform which allows cutter to be installed onto the posts, the posts are heated with a concaved hot tip tool that makes a mushroom shaped cap that bonds the cutter to the clamp. Used for keeping line from unraveling on standard size fishing line spools.

    Abstract: A process for the recovery of tank bottom wastes employing a flash tank fed with hot, pressurized tank bottom wastes and separating a vapor component and heavier bottoms then fed to a stripping reactor along with hot gas producing an overhead vapor with a solid remainder. Such remainder is alternatively fed to a pyrolyzing reactor at elevated temperatures producing vapors with a solid residue. The vapor streams are used with a regenerative heat exchanger to heat said tank bottom wastes to a temperature appropriate for entering the flash tank. Certain recycled material is employed as fuel.

    Abstract: A strain release clamp assembly consisting of a backshell component or female component member and a compression ring or male component member. The female component member is a generally cylindrical component having a plurality of radially directed bearing access ports therethrough for a screw-type adjusting member, a ball bearing, and an intermediate biasing means. The inside surface of the female member incudes a concentric groove with an access channel to the outside surface for containing one side portion of a locking wire inserted through the access channel. The male member includes on the outside surface with a matching concentric groove for receiving the opposite side portion of the locking wire and includes a plurality of spaced apart ball bearing depressions. The female component member receives the male component member and is locked thereto by the locking wire.

    Abstract: Two sets of positive-locking tilt adjustment mechanisms are mounted between a drafting board and a supporting frame therefore. Both sets of locking mechanisms include identical left and right halves having crown gear portions positioned thereon for aligned meshing engagement with each other. Further, the opposing halves of the opposing sets of mechanisms are also aligned. Each half is manually mountable by hand to either the board or frame and a bolt and hand tightenable nut maintain the sets of mechanisms, the board, and the frame in adjustable alignment. The board and frame are made such that loosening a nut on each mechanism automatically separates the halves of each set thereof for providing interference free tilting adjustment of the drafting board on the frame.
