    Abstract: A latch mechanism for a closure member that has a lever arrangement for connecting a main bolt to an auxiliary bolt. The two bolts are retractable together against the bias of a spring which acts through the lever arrangement to provide increased extension of the main bolt when the auxiliary bolt is maintained in a retracted position.
