  • Publication number: 20230236170
Abstract: Disclosed are methods, assays, and kits for identifying a ligand to a biological molecule, such as a protein, a lipid, a carbohydrate, or a nucleic acid. The disclosed methods may be a quantitative binding assay against targets, which sidesteps the challenge of target purification, and may provide a systematic approach to discover and target allosteric binding sites.

  • Publication number: 20230192644
Abstract: Disclosed are compounds and pharmaceutically acceptable salts, hydrates, solvates, prodrugs, stereoisomers, and tautomers thereof that may cause degradation of various proteins e.g., IKZF2 (Helios). Also disclosed are pharmaceutical compositions containing same, and methods of making and using the compounds to treat diseases and disorders associated with Helios and which may benefit from Helios degradation.

  • Publication number: 20210299070
Abstract: Disclosed are methods of treating creatine transporter deficiency, comprising administering to a mammal in need thereof a therapeutically effective amount of a compound that increases transport of a substrate by a mutant or wild-type creatine transporter. Also disclosed are methods of increasing transport of guanidinoacetic acid or a salt thereof across the blood-brain barrier of a mammal, and methods of decreasing accumulation or the concentration of guanidinoacetic acid or a salt thereof in a mammalian cell.

  • Publication number: 20040116350
Abstract: The invention relates generally to the field of immunology. More specifically, the invention relates the finding that antibodies can generate superoxide and hydrogen peroxide from singlet oxygen. Accordingly, methods and compositions able to increase or decrease oxidative stress are provided. Also provided are screening assays to identify agents that modulate the ability of a antibody to generate superoxide and hydrogen peroxide. Such agents can be used therapeutically to treat patients in need. Further, the invention provides methods to use antibodies in immunoassays.
