    Abstract: A method for managing multiple software defined wide area network (SD-WAN) software versions includes providing a controller that defines an overall configuration for an SD-WAN and that creates configuration registries for individual SD-WAN appliances to implement their respective portions of the overall configuration. The controller generates, in an intermediate configuration language registry format, a first and second configuration registry for first and second SD-WAN appliance that respectively execute first and second versions of SD-WAN software. The controller respectively transmits the first and second configuration registries to the first and second SD-WAN appliances, which use the first and second configuration registries to configure themselves. The spring loaded selector pin device utilizes the friction created by the weight plates to remain engaged while the weight is lifted, and automatically releases immediately after the weight is set down, making the next preset weight ready to be lifted without any interruption in the exercise.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a blade, referred to herein as the “Hollow Flat blade.” The Hollow Flat blade would make sharpening easier, by eliminating the problem of correctly holding the blade to match the angle of the sharp-edge bevel during the sharpening process. In an exemplary Hollow Flat blade embodiment of the present invention, the blade is a fixed blade. As depicted in FIG. 30a, in this Hollow Flat blade embodiment, a spacing detent 32 would be provided on the hollow ground side of the blade at the end opposing the sharp edge 11 of the blade 1. The spacing detent 32 would be equal in height to the raised flat bevel 10-1 relative to the concave side 13-2?. As further depicted, the spacing detent 32 would be even with the height of the small raised flat bevel 10-1 relative to line 34-34 as the raised flat bevel.

    Abstract: A backlighting system for a liquid crystal display (LCD) unit includes a first number of light emitting diodes (LEDs) configured to produce saturated radiation and a second number of LEDs configured to produce desaturated radiation, wherein the saturated and desaturated radiation is combined to form a resultant desaturated radiation of a target color. In a preferred embodiment, the colors and intensities of the first and second numbers of LEDs are chosen to produce a blue-green color of a typical vacuum fluorescent (VF) display unit, whereby the LCD unit may be used to simulated a typical VF display. By utilizing the concepts of the present invention, known dispersive effects associated with the LCD unit are minimized, and a substantially uniform light output from the LCD unit results regardless of a viewing angle relative to the normal of the viewing side of the LCD unit.
