    Abstract: An application disclosed for collecting a plurality of gas or liquid samples at a plurality of vertical heights above a surface. The apparatus comprises a vertical support member, a sample support rod connected to the vertical support and moveable between a vertical position and a horizontal position, and one or more sample receivers, freely and pivotally suspended from the sample support rod from points along the rod, for trapping airborne material. The sample receivers maintain vertical orientation as the sample support rod is pivoted from a vertical to a horizontal position during collection of the samples.
