    Abstract: Biaxially oriented, partially crystalline polycarbonate carbonate films have improved properties. For instance, a 2 .mu.m film that has a degree of crystallinity of about 35% has an electrical breakdown strength of about 13.5 kv per mil. Such a film has a stretch ratio in the transverse direction of about 2.27/1 and in the machine direction of about 3.77/1.
