  • Patent number: 9841401
Abstract: A capillary electrophoresis method for identification and analyzing collagen quantitatively, which is used to identify and quantify collagen in a sample, comprises the steps of: (a) dissolving a collagen-containing sample to form a sample solution; (b) preparing a capillary with an inner wall thereof having a positively-charged layer; (c) introducing the sample solution into the capillary filled with an analytical buffer solution; and (d) driving the sample solution to pass through the capillary. The method of the present invention does not need the purifying pre-treatment and cracking the collagen-containing sample but directly performs the capillary electrophoresis analysis of collagen. Therefore, the present invention can shorten the time for analyzing collagen quantitatively.

  • Patent number: 9688956
Abstract: A method for preserving proliferation and differentiation potential of undifferentiated cells, has steps of providing a culture carrier having a surface coated with a biological material selected from the group consisting of hyaluronan, chondroitin sulfate, carboxymethyl cellulose, carrageenan, alginate, and chitosan; and inoculating and culturing the undifferentiated cells on the surface in the culture carrier with an appropriate medium, such that the proliferation and differentiation potential of undifferentiated cells are preserved. The method can be used for expanding stem cells in vitro without loss of their replicative ability and differentiation capacity. Therefore, the method according to the present invention is amenable to application in regenerative medicine, tissue engineering, and therapy using umbilical cord blood and other cell sources such as peripheral blood, stem cells, tissue progenitor cells, and tissue cells.

  • Publication number: 20140080739
Abstract: Provided is a capture nanobead with multiple oriented adapting peptides, comprising: a nanobead; and multiple adapting peptides, each adapting peptide specifically recognizing an IgG constant region or fragment thereof and being chemically conjugated with the nanobead, whereby the adapting peptides are orientedly arranged on the nanobead. The capture nanobeads is capable of binding or conjugating with capture molecules such capture antibodies, which is useful as the basis to bind to alternative antibodies or Fab fragments in sandwich immunoassays.
