    Abstract: Methods and compositions are provided for treating inflammatory-related diseases and related disorders in a mammalian subject. The method provides administering to the mammalian subject one or more modulators of cyclin dependent kinase 4 (Cdk4) activity in an amount effective to reduce or eliminate the inflammatory-related disease or disorder or prevent its occurrence or recurrence. Methods are also provided for reducing or eliminating ligand-induced adhesion in a mammalian subject.
