  • Patent number: 4284361
Abstract: An egg fluffer having mixer blades with copper surfaces thereon for interacting with egg white albumen in whipping processes to produce high-volume, stable foams.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: May 9, 1980
Date of Patent: August 18, 1981
    Inventor: William M. Botts
  • Patent number: 4214628
Abstract: A system for injecting fluid into underground formations for various purposes including the secondary and tertiary recovery of oil or other hydrocarbons from underground formations, storage of fresh water in underground formations, recharging depleted or insufficient fresh water underground strata from rainfall run off or other sources of fresh water to provide fresh water supply during low rainfall periods or the like, disposal of brine or saline solutions into underground formations where such solutions will be purified by filtering through porous media and disposal of contaminated fluids resulting from industrial, chemical processes, and the like.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 11, 1978
Date of Patent: July 29, 1980
    Inventor: Elton M. Botts
  • Patent number: 4160924
Abstract: A permanent magnet armature is reciprocated between electromagnetic coil assemblies in a motor chamber that is evacuated and maintained at a cryogenic temperature by circulation of a cryogenic cooling medium through pressure sealed, coil enclosing spaces of the coil assemblies. Shock absorbers absorb the thrust applied by the armature to the coil assemblies at the ends of its stroke. The armature drives pumps for transmitting motive energy externally of an insulated enclosure within which the power plant is housed.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 7, 1977
Date of Patent: July 10, 1979
    Assignee: Energy 76, Inc.
    Inventor: Elton M. Botts
  • Patent number: 4102394
Abstract: A control unit for oil wells for maximizing the efficiency of a producing oil well field, including the use of a variable speed AC motor powering each oil well pump jack, which enables the operator to control the strokes per minute on the pump unit and adjust the speed of the upstroke relative to the downstroke of the unit which is accomplished by the variable speed motor also having a variable cycle. This enables the operator to adjust the speed of the pump jack to pump all the oil that the formation will yield and also slowdown the downstroke so that excessive pounding against fluid columns and the resulting shock and vibration of the rod, tubing, pump and pump jack can be substantially eliminated.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 10, 1977
Date of Patent: July 25, 1978
    Assignee: Energy 76, Inc.
    Inventor: Elton M. Botts
  • Patent number: 3949249
Abstract: A magnetic motor wherein a piston mounted magnet is reciprocated through a predetermined stroke in timed relation to polarity reversal of a pair of electro-magnetic assemblies at opposite axial ends of the piston cylinder. Polarity reversal and the intensity of the magnetic field is varied as a function of piston movement through a distributor to control the output of the motor. Hysteresis and flux leakage is reduced by an arrangement of permanent magnets and magnetic spheroids associated with one of the electro-magnetic assemblies.
