Abstract: The disclosure relates to a method for gathering information for providing personalised augmented information, specifically augmented location information, the method comprising: providing a display arrangement; providing a portable communication device; detecting presence of the portable communication device in the vicinity of the display arrangement; establishing a communications link between the display arrangement and the communication device; assessing if a piece of information concerning the user's identified intentions pertains to a specific location within the environment or a specific resource or a specific person; and displaying on said display arrangement said first information and a second information, the second information comprising an identifier associated with the specific location, resource or person. The disclosure also relates to a display arrangement, a portable communication device and to a system comprising a display arrangement and a portable communication device.

Abstract: A cash deposit apparatus has a user interface module that provides a user interface at a first external side of the apparatus and allows a user to interact with a cash processing transaction of the apparatus. A cash processing module processes cash deposited by the user and determines a value related to the processed cash, and has a service interface for providing access to the cash processing module. A cash storage module stores cash as processed by the cash processing module and has a cash storage interface for providing access to the cash storage module. The cash processing module and the cash storage module are independently configurable.

Abstract: A cash deposit apparatus has a first cash processing unit capable of performing a first cash deposit transaction involving receiving first cash from a user and processing the first cash so as to determine a value of the first cash, and a second cash processing unit capable of performing a second cash deposit transaction involving receiving second cash from the same user and processing the second cash so as to determine a value of the second cash. The apparatus also has a user interface unit and a controller, which is operatively coupled to the first and second cash processing units and to the user interface unit. The controller will detect a first input from the user, control the first cash processing unit, detect a second input from the user, and control the second cash processing unit.
