    Abstract: Methods for rendering augmented reality (AR) content are presented. An a priori defined 3D albedo model of an object is leveraged to adjust AR content so that is appears as a natural part of a scene. Disclosed devices recognize a known object having a corresponding albedo model. The devices compare the observed object to the known albedo model to determine a content transformation referred to as an estimated shading (environmental shading) model. The transformation is then applied to the AR content to generate adjusted content, which is then rendered and presented for consumption by a user.

    Abstract: A vehicle may have optical structures such as windows and mirrors that have the potential to allow glare from external objects to shine into the eyes of a driver or other vehicle occupant. A control circuit may gather information on where the eyes of the driver are located using a camera mounted in the vehicle and may gather information on where the sun or other source of glare are located outside of the vehicle. Based on this information, the control circuit may direct a light modulator on a window or mirror to selectively darken an area that prevents the glare from reaching the eyes of the driver. The light modulator may have a photochromic layer that is adjusted by shining light onto the photochromic layer, may be a liquid crystal modulator, an electrochromic modulator, or other light modulator layer.

    Abstract: A structure for an integrated circuit is disclosed for storing data. The integrated circuit includes a memory cell array of bit cells configured in a static random access memory (SRAM) architecture. The memory cell array is coupled to wordlines arranged in rows that control operations such as Read and Write operations. To enhance the read sensing margin of the SRAM configuration, the read port of a bit cell may include a wordline that drives two transistors (e.g., a PMOS and an NMOS transistor) to reduce data-dependent current leakage from a read bitline. An additional weak transistor keeper configuration may be used in the integrated circuit to compensate for current leakage from the read bitline. For example, a weak NMOS keeper that includes a sense amplifier, an inverter, and an NMOS connected to supply voltage VDD provides a path between the read bitline and VDD through the weak NMOS keeper.
