  • Publication number: 20160331559
Abstract: A device is provided to allow adaptation of a prosthetic or robotic foot in the medial-lateral direction, including pronation and supination of the foot using a series of articulations. Articulations are permitted in the disclosed device due to linkage systems positioned at various locations of the prosthetic foot. In particular, the device includes multiple connected linkage systems each including upper and lower portions with an articulating contact surface designed for load carriage and stability. The point of contact between the contact surfaces of each linkage system comprises the position-dependent instantaneous center of rotation of the upper portion with respect to the lower portion. The device also includes a platform coupled between the linkage systems and a base.

  • Patent number: 9412083
Abstract: A system includes an aggregation engine that initiates a first interface module in response to a first request from a first user that indicates a first type of project information. The aggregation engine also receives, via the first interface module, the first type of project information and stores the first type of project information in a memory. The system additionally includes a workflow engine that initiates one or more workflows that indicate certain project information requested by an external group. The workflow engine retrieves, from the memory and based upon the initiated one or more workflows, a first subset of the first type of project information and formats the first subset of project information according to the workflow. The system also includes an export engine that transmits the formatted first subset of project information to the external group according to the initiated one or more workflows.

  • Publication number: 20150310390
Abstract: A system includes an aggregation engine that receives a build sheet entry from a user that includes a configuration item, a category, and a value. The system also includes a workflow engine that determines a first approver associated with the configuration item and a second approver associated with the category. The workflow engine transmits a first approval request to the first approver and a second approval request to the second approver. The workflow engine receives a first response that indicates that the first approver approved the build sheet entry and a second response that indicates that the second approver denied the build sheet entry. The workflow engine receives an updated build sheet entry from the user that includes the configuration item, the category, and an updated value. The workflow engine transmits an updated second approval request to the second approver and receives an updated second response that indicates that the second approver approved the updated build sheet entry.

  • Patent number: 9170821
Abstract: A test document associated with a workflow definition is obtained, the test document including an input for an action of the workflow definition and an expected state for the workflow definition based on the input. The input is delivered for the action of a workflow instance, the workflow instance being an instance of the workflow definition executed by a workflow engine, and the action determined based upon a present state of the workflow instance. A next state of the workflow instance is obtained, where the next state is determined by the workflow engine based upon the present state, the action and the input. The next state of the workflow instance is compared to the expected state of the test document.

  • Patent number: 8919951
Abstract: Safety glasses for experienced cyclists have a small diameter, unobtrusive, adjustable and removable mirror mounted thereon for establishing a rearwardly directed line of sight so that the cyclist can see a vehicle, including an automobile, motorcycle, or another cyclist, approaching from behind. The mirror is mounted on a stem that is magnetically attached to the gasses frame and extends forward from the frame. The magnetic attachment is sufficient to allow ready adjustment of the angle of incidence of light to establish the desired rearwardly directed line of sight and to fix the line of sight in place after adjustment. The glasses frame has a small disc-shaped neodymium magnet of from about 1 to 2 or 3 pounds force pull strength embedded in the face frame to the wearer's left and the mirror stem has a cooperating corresponding magnet mounted opposite the mirror. Larger mirrors may be desirable for use by less experienced cyclists.

  • Publication number: 20140277440
Abstract: Disclosed is a self-sealing patch for use with a tissue expander implant. The self-sealing patch serves as protection for the tissue expander against a hypodermic needle inadvertently missing a fluid injection port thereof by sealing a puncture through the patch. The patch includes a first sheet having a first sheet perimeter, a second sheet having a second sheet perimeter attached to the first sheet perimeter to form a pocket between the first sheet and the second sheet. Material is disposed within the pocket, where the material is hydrophobic material having a viscosity high enough that the material is prevented from flowing outside the pocket when either the first or second sheet is punctured with a hypodermic needle but low enough that the material flows to close a track made by a hypodermic needle puncturing the first or second sheet.
