Abstract: A garment or pants hanger is provided comprising looped arcuate yoke means having horizontally disposed grippers at each end adapted to grip the garment, and suspending means connected to said yoke means for suspending the hanger. The yoke means has a spring action and maintains the grippers in a closed position to frictionally retain a garment therebetween. The grippers are opened by squeezing the sides of the yoke means. The hanger can be manufactured as a flat development member by molding or stamping, which is then looped on itself to form the hanger. Plastic or metal having a spring action is suitable for the manufacture of the hanger.
