  • Patent number: 11684178
Abstract: An infant support structure may have multiple deployed configurations or orientations and a collapsed configuration or orientation. The infant support structure may include a support frame having a platform, a seat portion, and legs coupled to the platform. The infant support structure may also include a flexible material coupled to a support member that is engageable with each of the legs. In one deployed configuration or orientation, an infant can be placed in the seat portion. In another deployed configuration or orientation, an infant can be placed in a receptacle or play area formed by the flexible material. To facilitate transportation and storage, the infant support structure can be manipulated to a collapsed configuration.

  • Publication number: 20210207432
Abstract: An improved safety gate includes a door pivotally disposed within a door frame, a plurality of extension frame members that are removably coupleable to the door frame, a pair of wall clamping members that are removably coupleable to the door frame and/or the extension frame members, and a remote actuator that is disposed at a remote location from the door and door frame. The door is configured to pivot between a closed position and an open position. The door includes a latching mechanism that secures the door to the closed position. In one operational method, the door may be manually unlatched/unlocked via a manual actuator located on the door so that the door may be rotated to the open position. In another operational method, the remote actuator may be activated to unlatch/unlock the door so that the door may be rotated to the open position.

  • Patent number: 10016068
Abstract: An improved infant support structure is disclosed herein. The swing contains a frame, a motor compartment, a hanger arm, and a seat. The frame is configured to suspend the motor compartment, the hanger arm, and the seat above the support surface. The hanger arm extends downwardly from the motor compartment, and is capable of a first type of motion and a second type of motion. The first type of motion may cause the hanger arm and seat to rotate about a vertical axis. The second type of motion may cause the hanger arm and seat to sway or swing along a substantially circular curvilinear arc within a horizontal plane. The motor compartment may cause the hanger arm and seat to simultaneously perform the first and second types of motion.

  • Patent number: 9339118
Abstract: An infant support includes a base and a backrest. The base is configured to rest upon a support surface and support an infant on the infant support. The base further includes a seat region and two arm portions. The backrest is pivotally coupled to the base between a storage configuration and an upright configuration. The backrest includes a front portion and a rear portion coupled together. The rear portion is configured to pivot between a closed position, in which the rear portion forms an interior cavity with the front portion, and an open position, where the rear portion is pivoted away from the front portion. The interior cavity is configured to receive and store napkins, wipes, or towels. The rear portion further includes an aperture and an operable door disposed proximate to the aperture. When the door is opened, the aperture provides access to the interior cavity for removing napkins, wipes, or towels from the infant support.

  • Patent number: 9039079
Abstract: A children's tray with a placement indicator includes a tray and a groove/spot formed in the tray to indicate where an eating item (including food, utensils, or dishware) is to be placed. The tray can be mounted, removably or fixedly, to a variety of child support structures, including high chairs, booster seats and bouncers and includes a wall around the periphery intended to prevent items from falling off of the tray. The groove/spot formed in the tray may be formed from of a material having a higher coefficient of friction than the material used to form the tray. The groove/spot formed in the tray may be formed from of a material having a different color than the material used to form the tray.
