  • Patent number: 5621864
Abstract: The label generation apparatus of this invention enables the user to define a label of various sizes, shapes and characteristics, wherein each label in a series of labels includes unique indicia that individually identify each label according to any predefined sequence. These labels also contain template fields that vary according to the indicia printed thereon or any other predefined ordering. The label generation apparatus includes a template generation capability that enables the user to define a label format having one or more writable indicia fields. These one or more writable indicia fields can be used to provide each label with individual identifying indicia according to any predetermined sequence. The label generation apparatus also includes an indicia generation capability that produces the individual identification according to various characteristics that are specified by the user of this apparatus.

  • Patent number: 5377951
Abstract: A workstation assembly which includes an underdesk monitor support assembly and an underdesk keyboard support assembly. The monitor support assembly and the keyboard support assembly can both be individually adjusted vertically, angularly, and horizontally relative to the workstation. An actuator member for each of the support assemblies allows the support assemblies to be locked into selected vertical and angular positions. The monitor support assembly and the keyboard support assembly are mounted onto brackets which are easily installed on most desks and counter-type workstations. The workstation assembly can be used in original equipment workstations or installed as a conversion kit.

  • Patent number: 5288107
Abstract: The present invention provides a label having multiple information fields. The label includes two substantially parallel vertical columns. Each of the vertical columns is divided into at least two cells. The upper and lower cells of the first vertical column each have several blocks of optical character recognition alphanumeric characters to identify unique information in regard to the information to be stored in the media, the media, the label itself or the site in which the media is to be stored. The characters and/or the cell background can be color-coded to provide additional information. The lower cell of the second vertical column includes a single block having a string of alphanumeric characters with a color-coded background to correlate to the latter two characters of the string. This information is provided to identify the storage site of the media. The upper cell of the second vertical column includes a machine-readable indicia, such as a bar code.

  • Patent number: 4939674
Abstract: The label generation apparatus enables the user to define a label of arbitrary size, shape and characteristics. Each label in a series of labels includes unique indicia that individually identify each label according to any predefined sequence. The label generation apparatus includes a template generation capability that enables the user to define the basic label format having one or more writable indicia fields. These one or more writable indicia fields can be used to provide each label with individual identifying indicia according to any predetermined sequence. The label generation apparatus also includes an indicia generation capability that produces the individual identification according to various characteristics that are specified by the user of this apparatus.

  • Patent number: 4718739
Abstract: A system for supporting documents such as multi-leaf computer print-out documents is presented and uses a holder having a main support member having a pair of support posts for supporting documents and a closure member pivotally mounted on the main support member for movement between an open position wherein documents can be mounted on or removed from the support posts and an intermediate position having a portion superposed over the support posts. The closure member can be moved in a linear direction from the intermediate position to a fully closed position in which the main support member and the closure member are locked together. Guiding forces control the linear movement of the closure member and frictional forces function to hold the main support member and the closure member in the fully closed position.
